Amit Tandon and his wife, Ruby Tandon caught all the headlines, when the duo decided to celebrate their union yet again, and renew their wedding vows just like a big fat ceremony. For the unversed, the duo tied the knot in 2007 and were blessed with a daughter, Jiyaana. However, in 2017, their marital bliss hit rock bottom, and they were on the verge of getting divorced. But when Ruby got stuck in a fiasco in Dubai for allegedly threatening some government officials, and as a result, was arrested as well, it was Amit who flew down to her rescue. And that is when the once estranged couple decided to give their love another chance. And now, the duo celebrated their union yet again, as they renewed their wedding vows.
Taking to her IG handle, Ruby Tandon, in a collaborative post with Amit, dropped the first-ever glimpse of their wedding ceremony as they renewed their vows. The duo looked like a match-made in heaven, as they twinned in pastel pink outfits. Speaking about Ruby, she looked breathtaking in a pastel pink-hued, heavily embroidered lehenga that featured pearls and lace work on the border. Subtle makeup, henna-clad hands and selected diamond jewellery pieces accentuated her look. Amit, on the other hand, looked handsome in a pastel pink-hued kurta-pyjama set, which she teamed with a matching-hued, embellished Nehru jacket.

While the duo posed mushily with one another, and celebrated their union in the most special way, it was their heart-melting moments with their daughter, Jiyaana that won hearts. From posing with her parents on their special day, to giving them a tight hug, she indeed enjoyed every bit of Amit and Ruby’s wedding renewal ceremony. Along with the pictures, the duo penned a special caption, that can be read as:
“Love isn't easy but it's worth every hardship. May God always be with us, by us and for us.”
As Amit and Ruby gave their love another chance, the duo decided to celebrate their togetherness in a proper wedding ceremony yet again, which would not fall short of all the special festivities. Proof of the same was found when they shared glimpses from their mehendi ceremony. For the special day, Amit looked handsome in a green-hued kurta, paired with white pants. On the other hand, Ruby wore a white-hued embroidered sharara set, teamed with floral jewellery. Pink eyeshadow, glossy lipstick, winged eyeliner, defined brows and a middle-parted hairdo amped her look. Sharing the pictures, Amit had written:
"The deeper the color, the deeper the love. We are Inked in love now for the 2nd time. To the Mehendi that was. A big thank you for all that came and for those who made this possible."

In one of his previous interviews with The Times of India, Amit Tandon had opened up on his decision to parting ways with his wife, Ruby and filing for divorce. The actor mentioned that for a very long time, they felt that something was amiss between them, but they never endeavoured to save their gradually failing relationship.
