Shoaib Ibrahim and Dipika Kakar are popular names in the Indian television industry. The two first met on the sets of their serial, Sasural Simar Ka, and eventually fell in love and got married in 2018. Last June, the couple welcomed their first baby, Ruhaan, into the world. After marriage, while Dipika has taken a sabbatical from the world of entertainment, Shoaib, on the other hand, was most recently seen in the dance reality show, Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa Season 11. Moreover, the couple is also known for their daily vlogs, which they regularly upload on their respective YouTube channel.
In one of his previous vlogs, Shoaib revealed that he had invited the director-writer, and one of the judges of JDJ 11, Farah Khan, to his home for iftar during the holy month of Ramadan. On April 19, 2024, the director, who recently launched her YouTube channel, shared her experience of going to the Ibrahim house to celebrate the occasion. In one of the segments of her vlog, Farah was seen playing a fun game with Shoaib, his sister, Saba and Dipika.

During the game, which she named ‘Falooda With Shoaib’, the director asked the couple if their respective mothers were in shock after knowing that they wanted to marry each other. To this, Shoaib recalled that he first met with Dipika during a look test and started working in Sasural Simar Ka in 2011. Further continuing about how he fell in love with Dipika, he said that he got into a relationship during 2015-16.
However, Farah, who is known for her humorous punchlines, sarcastically said that the two were really fast. Shoaib further added that he got married to Dipika in 2018 and had their first baby in 2023. To this, Farah took another dig at them and said that she could not keep up with them as they were too fast for her. The director jokingly asked Shoaib and Dipika if they were planning to have their second kid after 10 years and said:
“Bahut fastrack family ho, dusra bachha kya 10 saal ke baad? Okay!”

Ever since Dipika went to the sets of JDJ 11 to be a part of her husband’s performance, reports went rife claiming that she might be pregnant with her second child. However, multiple sources opened up about the same to Hindustan Times and revealed that the television actress isn’t pregnant. They mentioned that Dipika had gained weight after giving birth to Ruhaan. The source said:
“She is not expecting her second baby. There are no such plans. She has just gained weight after Ruhaan’s birth and will soon start focusing on getting back on track. Jaise hi kisi video ya photo mein angle iss tareeke ka hota hai, ek second mein pregnancy rumours aane lag jaate hain. The same happened with many actresses lately.”
