Actress Tori Spelling recently got into a horrific accident when a speeding vehicle allegedly rammed into her car, leaving it disfigured and the occupants inside injured. The accident took place on April 2, 2026, when the 52-year-old actress was driving with four of her children and three of their friends.
Reports say the accident occurred in Temecula, California, just before 6 p.m. local time on Thursday, when a car ran a red light and crashed into their SUV. The responders arrived shortly after, and all eight of the occupants were rushed to the hospital in three separate ambulances. Videos from the scene showed the actress speaking to the officials after the car crash. No arrests have been reported so far.

The Beverly Hills, 90210 star and the seven kids were treated for cuts, burns, and minor injuries, and all of them are out of danger. The accident has sparked interest in Tori Spelling's family, the one she shares with her ex-husband, Dean McDermott. Four of them were with their mom during the accident.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott have been together for 2 decades, married for 19 years before divorcing in October 2025. The two had met on a film set, both married to their ex-partners at the time, and later tied the knot in 2006. The marriage wasn't without its challenges and was long plagued by rumours of infidelity, financial struggles, and emotional distance. After years of strain, Tori and Dean separated in June 2023, finalising their divorce nearly three years later.

Amid the ups and downs of their marriage, the couple welcomed five children, Liam, Stella, Hattie, Finn, and Beau, between 2007 and 2017. After Dean's cheating scandal in 2013-2014, which had significantly strained their marriage, the actress said welcoming their youngest, Beau, was like a “fresh start” for both of them.

Rehab, legal filings, and a shift into co-parenting followed Tori and Dean's split. Despite everything, they have remained on surprisingly amicable terms, sharing co-parenting duties and doing everything together, from family dinners to travelling with the kids. Speaking to PEOPLE about their "super easy and loving" divorce, Tori said:
"It's so interesting because Dean and I were together 20 years, married 18, and while we had our ups and downs and problems throughout our marriage, we've had absolutely no problems throughout the divorce... This is a testament to the two of us and wanting to really step up and be there for the five humans we chose to create out of love and setting a good example."

Tori and Dean welcomed their first child, Liam Aaron McDermott, in 2007, and he grew up in front of the cameras thanks to his reality TV star mother. Despite being the child of two renowned actors, Liam's journey to adulthood has been anything but easy. Tori has spoken openly about the intense amount of bullying he faced in school, "to the point that he developed severe emotionally-based headaches and stomach aches." Despite that, Liam, now 19, has emerged as someone she can rely on and calls "resilient" and grounded.
The couple's second child and first daughter, Stella Doreen McDermott, was born in 2008. She was a recurring face on reality TV growing up, often seen on her parents' show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood. The 17-year-old has always stood out for creativity, from makeup artistry to modelling. Tori described her daughter as a "Jill-of-all-trades", and Stella's portfolio truly reflects that expression. As a victim of childhood bullying that left her with PTSD and suffering health issues like hemiplegic migraines, she has remained vocal and expressive, using her platform to speak out against bullying.

Tori and Dean welcomed their second daughter, Hattie Margaret McDermott, in 2011, and she is often described as the most free-spirited of the bunch. Unlike her elder siblings, Hattie has a taste for darker aesthetics and has never been afraid to stand out. Now 14, she is growing up to be a fearless teenager and brings a bold and imaginative flair to the family. Hattie shares an especially close bond with her elder sister, Stella, and they are often labelled "soul sisters."

Less than a year after Hattie's birth, Tori and Dean welcomed their fourth child, Finn Davey McDermott, in 2012. The couple described Finn as a miracle baby, given the difficult and uncertain conditions leading up to his birth. When Tori was pregnant with Finn, she was hospitalised with placenta previa and placed on bed rest. Finn was delivered via C-section at 37 weeks, followed by complications that required emergency surgery. She has since been especially protective of the 13-year-old. Despite the complications, Finn has grown up energetic and full of life, and keeps the entire family constantly on their toes.
Beau Dean McDermott is the youngest of the five, born in 2017 after Tori and Dean had reconciled temporarily. Bringing the little one into the world was a fresh start in their lives, bringing newfound happiness to the family. The nine-year-old is the family's eye candy; his love for animals and sports, and his sweet personality bring joy to everyone around him. But inside, he is described as an old soul.
Four of Tori Spelling's children, Liam (19), Stella (17), Hattie (14), Finn (13), and Beau (9), were in the car when the crash took place in Temecula, California. The children, along with their three friends, reportedly sustained cuts, bruises, concussions, and contusions, but fortunately, none of them were life-threatening.
Now back home from the hospital, Tori Spelling and the children are recovering at home, with occasional monitoring of those who showed concussion symptoms. Meanwhile, the crash remains under investigation with no arrests reported so far.
