British actor Jude Law, best known for his roles in films like The Holiday, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and the Fantastic Beasts franchise, has left the internet in awe with his uncanny transformation into Russian leader Vladimir Putin in Wizard of the Kremlin. However, it is not only his film that's making the headlines; the actor's family has come into the spotlight after his 11-year-old daughter, Ada Law, found herself in a controversy involving singer Chappell Roan.
Ada, the daughter of Jude Law and his ex-wife, Catherine Harding, recently visited a hotel in Sao Paolo, Brazil, where the little one's idol, Chappell Roan, was staying ahead of her Lollapalooza Brasil performance. After an alleged brief interaction with the pop star, a security guard approached Ada and accused her of harassment, even though she had only recognised the singer from a distance. The little fan left the scene "in tears", as per her stepdad, Jorginho Frello.

While the situation sparked headlines, it also renewed public curiosity about Jude Law’s large and blended family, especially the seven children he shares with his ex-wives and partners. Here's a deeper look at all seven of Law's children, and where they are today.

Jude Law's journey into fatherhood began during his marriage to actress and fashion designer, Sadie Frost. The former couple wed in 1997 and welcomed three children, all of whom are now adults and are carving out their own identities in various creative fields.

Jude and Sadie's eldest child, Rafferty Jellicoe Frost Law, was born in October 1996. Now 29, Rafferty has followed his parents' footsteps and pursued a career in acting, music, and modelling. He is best known for his work in the 2021 feature film, Twist, and Apple TV+'s Masters of the Air (2024). His striking resemblence with his star father and his edgy fashion have made him a well-known face in the rising stars of entertainment.

Jude and Sadie's second child, a daughter, Iris Tallulah Elizabeth Law, is perhaps the most recognisable out of her siblings and half-siblings. Born in October 2000, Iris has made a name in the fashion industry as a model and actress based in England. Notably, she is also the goddaughter of modelling icon Kate Moss, and has herself walked runways for major brands like Missoni, Burberry, Miu Miu, Versace, and Roberto Cavalli. Last year, she turned heads at the Victoria's Secret runway with her cheeky ‘naughty-ish’ sultry-meets-sporty look at Brooklyn's Navy Yard.

The youngest of the trio, Rudy Otis Law, was born in September 2002 and is currently 23 years old. Unlike his parents and siblings, Rudy has chosen to stay away from the spotlight, but he has appeared with his mom in the 2013 short film Dotty. He has also opted for a career in modelling and occasionally appeared on red carpets with his siblings. Despite his parents' split, Rudy has maintained an amazing connection with both Jude and Sadie.
Jude Law had a brief relationship with model Samantha Burke in 2008 when he was filming Sherlock Holmes in New York. In September 2009, when Samantha's daughter, Sophia, was born in September of that year in Florida, a DNA test revealed that Jude was her biological father. Unlike her older siblings, the 16-year-old has largely stayed out of the spotlight, and Jude has been actively involved in raising her in the U.S. and consistently respected her privacy.

Ada is Jude Law's fifth child, shared with British singer-songwriter Catherine Harding, also known by her stage name, Cat Cavelli. The 11-year-old currently lives with her mom and her stepdad, Jorginho Frello, a renowned Brazilian soccer player. Even though Jude and Catherine had parted ways at the time of Ada's birth in March 2015, both have remained on amicable terms and are dedicated to co-parenting. Ada recently drew attention after being referenced in a public claim involving Jorginho, who alleged that an interaction involving the young fan left her upset. Both her biological and step-parents have been actively involved in doing the best for the little one.

The Holiday star was first linked with Philipa Coan, a psychologist and sustainability activist, in 2015, when they met through mutual friends. Jude was 46 when he tied the knot with Philipa (then 32) in 2019, in a low-key ceremony at The Old Marylebone Town Hall. Since their marriage, the couple has kept their private lives largely out of the public eye, and there is limited information about their children. From what is known, Jude and Philipa welcomed two children, one in 2020, which the actor confirmed during an appearance on The Tonight Show in September that year. Their second child was reportedly born in 2023, and the couple has chosen to keep the children’s names and details private.
The Sherlock Holmes actor's current family dynamic reflects a deliberate shift from his high-profile relationship history. Despite having children with four different partners, Jude has maintained a reputation for being actively involved in their lives. Now 53, the actor has often emphasised that parenting has shaped him profoundly. In past interviews, he described fatherhood as the experience that grounded him and gave his life deeper meaning beyond fame and success.
Despite his accolades and long-standing success in the film industry, Jude Law has repeatedly said that being a father is his greatest achievement, and he continues to prioritise family above all else.
