Have you been in a relationship with someone wherein you got close to your partner's siblings or parents? That's an amazing feeling, right? The way you get accepted whole-heartedly even before you guys decide to get married pretty much defines your equation with your future in-laws. Alia Bhatt has been quite lucky in this department. Alia Bhatt is currently dating the Kapoor khandaan ka chirag, Ranbir Kapoor and both of them are in a happy space together, both personally and professionally. Ralia (the affectionate term given to this awesome twosome by their fans) started dating on the sets of Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra in 2018. Since then, their marriage has been everybody's sweet concern.
But as they say, when it has to happen, it will happen. But before that, it must be noted here that Alia Bhatt has been accepted by the Kapoor clan with open arms. Alia's latest pictures on Instagram prove the same, wherein we can spot her with beau- Ranbir Kapoor, his cousin sister- Karisma Kapoor, Armaan Jain and Aadar Jain (sons of Karisma and Ranbir's bua Rima Jain) and Anissa Malhotra (whom Armaan is reportedly dating). Karisma Kapoor shared the pic from the 'cousins party' and we missed Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan. But they were ringing in Kunal Kemmu's birthday bash last night. Take a look at Alia Bhatt partying with Ranbir Kapoor and his relatives:
Alia Bhatt's acceptance by the Kapoor parivaar was also a hot topic in 2018. A close family friend of the Kapoors had shared with a media portal, “She has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time. The couple will wait until Rishi Kapoor’s recovery before discussing a date for marriage.”
Ranbir Kapoor's mother, Neetu Kapoor and Alia Bhatt's mother, Soni Razdan have been candid about their kids' relationship, especially on social media. For example, when recently Alia and Ranbir won Best Actor and Best Actress Awards respectively, Neetu Kapoor wrote on Instagram, “AND moments like these make you forget all the stress congratulations so proud n happy #filmfareawards #bestactor#bestactress”. Soni Razdan, on the other hand, had posted, “Congratulations you two ... happiness and proudness #filmfareawards #congratulations #andcelebrations.” (Must Read: Taimur Ali Khan Persuaded Kareena Kapoor Khan And Saif Ali Khan To Buy Him A Toy, Pics Inside)
Ranbir Kapoor’s father, Rishi Kapoor had also once talked about Ranbir and Alia's relationship. Talking to the Mid-Day, he had shared, “Jo hai woh hai, sabko pata hai. I don't need to say anything more.” In yet another interview with Mumbai Mirror, Rishi ji had stated, “Neetu likes her, I like her, Ranbir likes her. Get it? I can't be judgmental. After all, my uncles Shammiji and Shashiji and I chose our life partners. Ranbir is entitled to choose his."
Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's wedding is currently one of the hottest topics of the Tinseltown. Speaking about the same, a source had revealed to an online tabloid, “Bhatts and Kapoors will meet a Pandit together to zero down on some auspicious dates for the shaadi and one of those dates will be finalised. There is loose talk that the Pandit meeting date has been fixed up for April."
As per another media house, Raila's wedding won't happen, before 2020, "Alia is in a great phase of her life right now. She is in love and they both are sure of each other. Marriage is certainly on the cards but it won't happen before 2020."
In a recent interview during the promotions of Kalank, Alia Bhatt had talked about her marriage plans. The 26-year-old actress had stated, “Not at all! I feel it’s all unnecessary chatter. You have to understand that personal life is called ‘personal’ for a reason. In fact, that’s why not many speak up about their relationships. The minute you say anything, there are random pieces of news including my supposed marriage.”
In another interview, she had talked about her idea of marriage and had stated, “But marriage is something that hasn’t even crossed my mind. I am not averse to it. But it’s not a part of my plan right now. I have a lot of work to do. It’s not as if I won’t work post marriage, whenever it happens. But right now, my focus is just on work. My priorities will probably shift in time. As of now, it hasn’t.” (Also Read: Misha Kapoor And Zain Kapoor Twin In Blue In Their Beachwear In Thailand, Give Us Sibling Goals)
