She highlighted how people online seek validation from Western countries and criticise a celebrity like Alia, who is a big star, a National Film Award winner, a Global ambassador of brands, including L'Oréal Paris, Gucci and Levi’s. She supported Alia and lauded her Cannes appearance. Reacting to this post, Alia’s mom, Soni, gave a befitting reply to trolls. She wrote:
"Social media is full of many things: love, information, entertainment, and… a lot of hate. And more than anything else, it reveals something about society. A very interesting sociological discussion could ensue and be discussed and studied for years to come."

Replying to the comment, Alia wrote, "Why pity love? You noticed me."

Alia Bhatt has been married to Bollywood actor, Ranbir Kapoor since 2022. For the uninitiated, Alia tied the knot with Ranbir in April 2022 in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai residence after years of dating. Later that year, in November 2022, the couple was blessed with a baby girl, Raha. The cute baby girl, Raha, has often grabbed the media’s attention.

Both Ranbir and Alia have been very protective of their little princess, and it is quite natural to behave in such a way. In 2025, during an informal meet and greet, the couple requested paps to avoid clicking Raha. They explained that for the betterment of their child, they are trying to give her a safer environment. In a recent interview with Femina, Alia shared that she wants to be a hands-on mom. The Jigra actress mentioned that she wants to stay beside her little angel, Raha, in her early years. At the same time, Alia also wants her daughter to know how much she loves her work. Alia was quoted as saying:
"I want to be a hands-on mom. I want to experience these amazing years of her life. But I also want her to know that her mother is somebody who's very passionate about her work and storytelling, and movies."
