Kapil Sharma's show, The Great Indian Kapil Show, premiered its first episode on Netflix on March 30, 2024. It featured a star cast of Ranbir Kapoor along with his mother, Neetu Kapoor and sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahani. Throughout the show, the three of them reveal many unknown anecdotes from their personal lives that are simply unmissable. However, fans felt a notable absence of Ranbir's ladylove, Alia Bhatt from the show's first episode. Now, we got to learn about the real reason behind the same.
According to a latest report by TimesNow, Alia Bhatt was missing from the episode due to payment issues and nothing personal. A source close to the makers of the show revealed that unlike Kapil Sharma's TV show, wherein celebrities used to grace in order to promote their films, in the Netflix-special one, the guests are compensated for their appearances. However, each week's episode has a substantial budget pre-fixed by the makers. Thus, the source revealed that the makers couldn't afford Alia and her husband, Ranbir, together in the same episode. Consequently, the actor arrived with his family. However, it is also believed that Alia will mark her presence in future episodes.

Alia Bhatt has been riding high on her professional front. Apart from making a startling career in the Hindi film industry, she also made her Hollywood debut with the action-packed feature film, Heart of Stone, co-starring Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. As per multiple reports, the film's production budget was USD 150 million, making it one of Netflix's costliest original productions. Thus, the stunning actress, Alia Bhatt reportedly earned USD 500,000 for her supporting role in the film, which in INR is Rs. 4,16,62,150.
Recently, Alia Bhatt also hosted a prestigious fundraising event, the Hope Gala 2024, in London. With such a grand event, the actress wished to raise funds for the Indian NGO, Salaam Bombay, who look after children's welfare in underprivileged zones. Thus, it was attended by many eminent artists from around the world. For her first appearance at the event, Alia opted for a wine-hued strappy velvet gown with stone embellishments on the borders of her neckline. She completed her look with soft glam makeup, open tresses and a stunning sapphire lace neckpiece. On digging a little deeper, we found out that Alia’s necklace was from the international brand, Bulgari, and is priced at approximately Rs. 20 crores.

Coming to her personal life, Alia and Ranbir Kapoor are blessed with a baby girl in 2022, whom they named Raha. A few days ago, we stumbled upon a video, wherein Alia was heard revealing her favourite dress of her daughter, Raha. In an interview with CNBC-TV18, Alia was asked about her favourite pick for her daughter from Gucci's collection.
To this, Alia gave an adorable reply and revealed that when she was in New York for the Met Gala 2023 and was simultaneously shooting from Gucci for her announcement as the brand ambassador, she received a cute gift for Raha. The actress shared getting a beautiful dress from the Gucci team for Raha, which was blue-hued and had white-coloured collar. Alia shared that it's her favourite as it was Raha's first gift.
