Ever since Alia Bhatt had made her ‘couple entry’ with beau, Ranbir Kapoor at Sonam K Ahuja and Anand S Ahuja’s wedding reception, our hearts had so wanted to see them together! And the universe did adhere to our wishes when Alia and Ranbir started working on their first film together, Brahmastra. After many public chilling and holidays, it was during New Year 2019 when we had gotten a proof of the fact that Alia is not just adored by Ranbir, but his family loves her too!
While many more instances totally prove the same just as right, it was Alia Bhatt’s latest bonding spree with the Kapoor khandaan that served as yet another example of the stupendous welcome that she already has received from beau, Ranbir Kapoor’s family. For Armaan Jain’s birthday party hosted last night, we found Alia Bhatt happily seated amongst the other Kapoors as she held her boyfriend, Ranbir Kapoor’s arms as she happily posed for the camera. We also spotted Kiara Advani, Karisma Kapoor, Reema Jain and Armaan’s fiancé, Anissa Alia Malhotra at the family dinner.
It was Ranbir Kapoor’s 37th birthday on September 28, 2019, and his birthday eve was a moment of stupendous galore. Alia had made it super-special for her beau and had co-hosted a birthday bash with Ayan Mukerji for Ranbir and had invited many A-listed B-town stars. Out of a few pictures from Ranbir’s birthday bash that had gone viral on the internet, it was an adorable snap of Alia sitting on her boyfriend’s lap, with soon-to-be sasu maa, Neetu Kapoor by their side that had totally made our day!
Ranbir Kapoor’s legendary father, Rishi Kapoor recently came back from a prolonged cancer treatment from New York to India in September 2019. A ‘welcome back’ party was hosted for Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor by Ranbir Kapoor for his happy return. Soon-to-be Kapoor bahu, Alia Bhatt was one of the special attendees of the party, who came in looking like sunshine in a yellow kurta-sharara as she had joined her beau, Ranbir and her soon-to-be father-in-law, Rishi ji at his residence. The pictures snapped by the paps were a bit hazy but we so don’t need anything to depict how pretty Alia looked, right? Rishi Kapoor was undergoing the entire tenure of his cancer treatment in New York and every now and then, many Bollywood celebs had paid him a visit there. But mostly, we have seen how doting this ‘almost’ daughter-in-law, Alia Bhatt had become already! Amidst film promotions and hectic schedules, we have seen Alia and Ranbir fly off to New York to spend some quality time with the latter’s parents. It was in June 2019, when a wide array of film celebs had visited Rishi ji. Amidst all the pictures shared by Neetu Kapoor, one picture that had particularly caught our fancy was the Kapoor fam-jam comprising of Rishi Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and Alia Bhatt pose for the camera. Sharing the pictures, Neetu ji had written, “Your family is your whole world. So so many LOVES in these beautiful moments.” Her ‘almost soon-to-be’ samdhan, Soni Razdan had commented, “All looking so well and happy” on the pictures.
In October last year, we had shared with you that Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor might take the ‘great vow’ after the latter’s father, Rishi Kapoor’s recovery. A close family friend of the Kapoors had thrown light on the same and had shared, “She has been welcomed into the family by everyone. So it’s not just Ranbir who loves Alia. His parents, sister and the rest of the sprawling Kapoor family adore her too. Marriage is on Ranbir’s mind for sure and he will get into it happily this time.
