The year 2020 was started with a lot of hopes and dreams of new beginnings. However, the COVID-19 pandemic in the world has ruined all our plans. It became a 'pause' button in our normal life. Many travel plans and business plans came to a halt, but the worse was when many couples had to postponed their wedding due to the Coronavirus. And Bollywood couple, Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha was one of those, who had to postponed their April 2020 wedding for the next year. Before we take you further into the story, let us take a look at Ali and Richa's love story. The duo had met on the sets of Fukrey and 'Bholi Punjaban' had fallen for the struggling musician, 'Zafar bhai', in real-life and their love is growing stronger with each passing day. We remember in March th news of their 2020 wedding was at rife, but due to the pandemic, their plans of tying the knot had gotten postponed.
On September 17, 2020, Ali took to his Instagram handle and posted a mushy picture with his ladylove. In the picture, we can see Ali and Richa lovingly looking at each other. Alongside the picture, Ali wrote an appreciation note, which can be read as "Saathi. You got some of that genius, someone i know had. Cathartic empathy for every living soul human or otherwise. Hope i can learn a little from that.. i try. And hope them all Plebs learn from it. Aaj kyun? Bas aise hee. Kal? Kal dubbing hai. Ok bye @therichachadha". Check it out below:
In a conversation with the Mumbai Mirror, Ali Fazal had talked about his wedding plans getting postponed, and gave a tentative time for his wedding. He had said, "Let's see when we are able to accept the new normal, then, we will decide on a date, maybe early next year." While his ladylove Richa Chadha had expressed, that it is only pragmatic to push the wedding to the coming year in the interest of everyone, who would wish to attend. In another interview with the Hindustan Times, Ali Fazal had shared his thoughts on the Coronavirus pandemic, and had said, "Sabki life postpone ho gayi hai, shaadi toh... let's see what comes out of this in the new world. I hope we come out as better people, a better system, a better climate. I think there's a major churning happening above, below, inside and outside... everywhere. It's definitely a time to reflect."
