'Love Is Blind's Alexa Lemieux Spills Why She Divorced Brennon Lemieux, 'Saw Something On TikTok...'

Love Is Blind's Alexa Lemieux finally revealed why she decided to part ways with her husband, Brennon Lemieux. For the unversed, Alexa and Brennon were one of the much-loved couples of Love Is Blind season 3. They met each other on the show in 2021. Soon, the couple formed a connection and found solace in each other's arms.

They got engaged, and towards the finale, they got married to each other. After struggling for several years, Alexa and Brennon welcomed their daughter, Vienna Ziva Lemieux, into their lives. However, it was by November 2025, when Love Is Blind's Brennon filed for a divorce and in December of the same year, Alexa announced the same. It has been six months till the announcement was made, and Alexa recently spoke about her divorce, and she also shared the reason behind the same.

Recently, Alexa Lemieux sat for an interview with the He Said, G Said podcast, wherein she spoke about her divorce from Brennon. She revealed that it's not that there was a lack of love on her part, but rather, she was not able to do it anymore; she was just tired. She further added that she wanted her daughter to experience what real love looks like, and what she had was not this, and it was her biggest failure as a mom for her daughter to think that was real love.

She further revealed watching something on TikTok, wherein the narrator asked whether a mom would be proud or disappointed to see her daughter in the type of marriage she is in. Alexa said that this video brought her a lot of clarity, as she would be disappointed if her daughter were in the same kind of marriage she was in, and it would just break her heart. Alexa mentioned that this video actually made her think through why she was letting this happen to her. Her exact words were:

"It sounds so stupid, but I saw something on TikTok and it was like, ‘If your daughter was in the relationship that you’re in, would you be proud or would you be disappointed?’ And it was acknowledging her answer that led to a moment of clarity. I would have been really disappointed," Alexa went on, holding back tears. "That would have broken my heart. That was my answer, so why do I deserve this then?"

Whether it's about who's at fault or about two people ending their marriage for the sake of their well-being, a broken marriage is always seen with a frown and often brings criticism. The same happened when Alexa and Brennon ended their marriage as well.

Speaking about the same, in the recent interview, Alexa said that there was a time when she was also a kid whose parents got divorced, and while she wanted her parents not to break their marriage, she eventually saw them happy without being with each other. Alexa said that while it's obvious that staying together is just a goal, it's not a broken home if two people are separate and being happy, but rather a broken home when they are stuck together, where there is no happiness in their lives. She could be quoted as saying:

"It’s such, like, an outdated thing and babe, you get one freaking life to live. And it's just like, ‘Why not be happy doing it if something's not working out?’ Everything happens for a reason, and I have my child that I love more than anything in this life out of it and I'll always be grateful for the time that was shared and then now I get to live the rest of my life.”

For the unversed, Alexa alleged that Brennon was at fault in the breakup of the marriage, and thus, she demanded a larger portion of their estate, while he said that his marriage to Alexa had become insupportable due to her personality conflict that doesn't allow for any “reasonable expectation of reconciliation" in his filing.
