Popular Korean drama, Alchemy Of Souls, won every Kdrama fan’s heart with its unique storyline and heart-fluttering scenes. The chemistry of the leads was the talk of the town ever since its premiere and will continue to be loved by the masses for years to come. Now, to the delight of their fans, Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung are yet again cast together in an upcoming Korean drama, Death Game.
On December 13, 2023, the cast and crew of Death Game held a press conference to announce their project and interact with the media. The conference was a promotional activity to garner attention towards the upcoming drama’s story and cast. However, what stole the limelight was the endearing moment of its leads, Lee Jae Wook and Go Yoon Jung.

Amidst the hustle and bustle of the conference, Lee Jae Wook won everyone’s hearts with his attentive and caring gesture towards his co-star and dear friend, Go Yoon Jung. During the conference, the cast had to stand on the stage as a unit and then descend a flight of stairs in the dark. The security guards held flashlights for the cast, but the stairway was still quite dark.
During this, Lee Jae Wook approached Go Yoon Jung and guided her through the stairs. Not only that, Lee Jae Wook kept glancing back to ensure that Go Yoon Jung was safe. On closer inspection, we noticed that Lee murmured, “Be careful” to the actress. This gentlemanly behaviour of Lee Jae Wook made all of us swoon.

Death Game follows the story of a young chap who goes through 13 lives, in 12 of which he ends up dying as a means of punishment. He had committed certain sins for which the god of death punished him by bestowing merciless death, but by the 13th life, things changed, and he decided to fight back. Talking about his character as lead, Seo In Guk added:
“Portraying any character always comes with its own set of challenges. Many other actors, such as Choi Yi-jae, have also given excellent performances in this work. Being the first to embody the character, I imagine it might have been challenging for them to find their expression while keeping the character consistent. Moreover, as I had to narrate over their performances due to multiple people playing one character, I had discussions with the director about capturing the essence of Choi Yi-Jae.”
