Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are the power couple of the glamour world. If he is one of the most bankable actors in Bollywood, she is the wittiest author and columnist, and together, they are a house on fire. After a brief stint in acting, Twinkle had decided that it was not her cup of tea and had shifted towards her passion for writing.
Akshay and Twinkle’s love story is nothing less than a Bollywood movie. It was during the shooting of their film, International Khiladi, when Akshay and Twinkle had fallen in love with one another. A relationship that had started as a fling had turned into a lifetime of togetherness.

Akshay Kumar recently appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show, Koffee With Karan season 7 and talked about his married life with Twinkle Khanna. In one of the segments, Akshay confessed of stalking his wife on social media and reveals:
“You never know what she is going to write. I have to be careful all the time. I have to keep stalking all the time.”
In the same interaction, when Karan asked Akshay how he supports Twinkle, the actor gave the funniest reply. Revealing the same, Akshay stated:
“By just not saying anything to her. And whenever she writes something, just try to make her understand, don't cross the line. Touch her feet and make her understand, don't, it will cause problems. It takes about 2-3 hours to make her understand.”

When Karan reveals that Twinkle still does what she wants, Akshay added that she has ‘mellowed down’ and that whatever he reads is a filtered version. The doting hubby further revealed that he makes edits in the copy with folded hands.
It was Aamir Khan and Twinkle Khanna starrer Mela, which had decided Twinkle and Akshay’s destiny. Mela’s success was a deciding factor for Twinkle whether she would get married to the handsome actor, Akshay Kumar. And as luck would have it, Mela flopped at the box office and changed Akshay and Twinkle’s life forever. As a result, Twinkle bid adieu to acting and began her passion for writing. Known for her pen name, Mrs Funnybones, Twinkle is one of the most loved writers and columnists.
For the unversed, Twinkle and Akshay got married in 2001 and are parents to two adorable kids, Aarav and Nitara.
