They are blessed with two kids, Aarav and Nitara. Though the celebrity kids shy away from the media limelight, shutterbugs always try to capture them. In a recent media interaction, Akshay revealed that his son shows disinterest in movies and doesn’t want to step into acting.

In a recent interview with the Hindustan Times, Akshay Kumar revealed that he tries to make Aarav watch films and get him into the industry, but he is not interested. The doting daddy further stated that his son wants to become a fashion designer. In his words:
“I was just thinking about how different it is in my home. I want to show my son films, I want to tell him about films, he doesn't want to see films. I want to put him into all that but he just doesn't want to see anything, he just wants to do his work. He wants to study or do his fashion designing.”
Further, in the conversation, Akshay talked about two ways of parenting. Reflecting on the same, the Ram Setu actor said:
“So there are two ways of doing it: one, you keep it hidden or you give them so much that they don't want to do it.”

Earlier, Aarav got trolled for his walking style and for carrying a lady's handbag. It was on July 27, 2022, when Aarav and Nitara were papped by the shutterbugs at the Mumbai airport. However, as soon as the glimpses went viral on the internet, netizens had started posting mean comments about Aarav. One user wrote, “Mujhe toh ye larki lagta hai bilkul, the way he walk”. Another troll penned, “Walk look like Karan Johar.”
