Last year, Suniel Shetty had admitted that he has a dream of seeing his son, Ahan Shetty and Akshay Kumar's son, Aarav Kumar, in the sequel of their hit film, Dhadkan, replicating their respective roles. No wonder it's an incredibly exciting prospect to see their sons replicating the characters played by their fathers. Well, it seems that the dream isn't too far as Ahan Shetty is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with his film, Tadap, and Akshay Kumar has shared its first look on his IG handle.

On March 2, 2021, Akshay Kumar took to his Instagram handle and shared the first look of his close friend and iconic film, Hera Pheri's co-star, Suniel Shetty's son, Ahan Shetty's debut film, Tadap. In the posters, we can see Ahan hugging gorgeous actress, Tara Sutaria, who is paired opposite him in the film, which is directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. Along with the poster, Akshay got a bit emotional as he recalled a memory about his friend and Ahan's father, Suniel Shetty's first film, Balwaan. He wrote in his caption, "Big day for you Ahan...I still remember seeing your father, @suniel.shetty's first film, Balwaan's poster and today I'm presenting yours....so happy and proud to share the poster of # SajidNadiadwala's #Tadap*ing @ahan.shetty and @tarasutaria, releasing in cinemas on 24th September! @milan.a.luthria @wardakhannadiadwala @nadiadwalagrandson @foxstarhindi." The doting father, Suniel Shetty also took to his Instagram handle and shared another poster of his son, Ahan Shetty's debut film, Tadap, and the young actor has already raised the hotness quotient with his dashing looks. In the poster, the youngster looked robust and intense, as he was lying on top of a bike and can be seen smoking while giving a fiery expression. Along with the superb poster, Suniel Shetty penned down a note in the caption and gave some valuable advice to his son ahead of his introduction in Bollywood. His note can be read as "A new journey begins today Phantom ... remember it's all about being humble, honest and forever grateful. #SajidNadiadwala’s #Tadap.” After some minutes, Suniel's daughter and actress, Athiya Shetty shared the two posters along with a cutesy caption, and it can be read as "That's my brother! #Tadap in cinemas on 24th September 2021 @ahan.shetty @tarasutaria." In an interview with the Navbharat Times, Suniel Shetty had expressed his immense desire to see his son, Ahan Shetty, teaming-up with Akshay Kumar's son, Aarav Kumar, in their respective characters from their hit-film, Dhadkan. The actor had joked about Shilpa Shetty's daughter being too small to reprise her mother's role in the film. He had said, "I and Akshay have grown old now, and no one will be interested to see oldies like us romance on the screen. But it would be great if the sequel is made with our kids. But Shilpa's daughter is adorable and too small to be a part of the film." The actor had also revealed that both he and Akshay had shared this idea with Ratan Jain too. He had continued, "We also shared this thought of casting our sons with producer Ratan Jain, and he liked it too."
