Why was the film, Akhanda 2 delayed?

The release of the much-awaited film, Akhanda 2 was primarily delayed because of a legal and money fight between the producers and another company, Eros International. Allegedly, Eros claimed that the producers were trying to release the film through a related company, so that they could avoid paying money. Regarding the same, Eros asked the court to stop the release. Unfortunately, the Madras High Court blocked the release just a few hours before the planned premiere.
