Akansha Ranjan Kapoor To Tie The Knot With Filmmaker BF, Sharan Sharma, Here's When They Will Marry

Actress, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor is going through one of the best phases of her life. For those unaware, it seems that she is preparing to tie the knot with her filmmaker boyfriend, Sharan Sharma. And if reports are believed to be true, their wedding date is not too many days away. 

When and where will Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma get married?

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor and Sharan Sharma have been dating for nearly four years now. However, despite being together for so long, they have successfully managed to keep their relationship as low-key as possible. Well, now that they are all set to get married soon, it is believed that their wedding too will be a low-key event with a very select guest list. As per reports, the couple are planning to tie the knot next month in Mumbai. Talking about the details of the wedding, a source told HT:

“Akansha and Sharan are getting married on July 11, 2026, following with a wedding reception on July 12, 2026. The reception will take place in JW Marriott and hosted by the boy's side.” 

As per reports, Akansha and Sharan are planning their wedding in such a hush-hush manner that, as of now, they have not sent out any printed invitation cards. The duo are hoping to keep the celebrations a totally private affair. On their big day, they reportedly only want to be in the presence of family and close friends. 

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor on relationships and marriage 

In a previous interview, Akansha Ranjan Kapoor has openly spoken about her thoughts on relationships and marriage. She revealed that she gets inspired by her sister, Anushka Ranjan's relationship with her husband, Aditya Seal. Notably, the duo were in a relationship for 4 years before they exchanged vows on November 21, 2021. Akansha said:

"I believe that true love does exist. I get inspired in the sense that I want a person who treats me the way Adi treats didi [Anushka]. I want to be how didi is with Adi in a relationship. We are both spoiled by our parents in a good way. But she has evolved so much as a person and partner for him. She has become more responsible and selfless."

Akansha went on to add that she, too, wants somebody who treats her the way Aditya Seal treats her sister. She admitted that the kind of relationship shared between Aditya and Anushka is something great to have. In her words:

“I see that transition in her for him. I want to be that for somebody. I want somebody who treats me the way Adi treats her. They have been very inspirational in the way I see love, relationships and marriage. Marriages scare me. They are each other's best friends and support systems. That's so great to have.”

Akansha Ranjan Kapoor reportedly began dating Sharan Sharma back in 2022. However, at the time, they did their best to keep their relationship under wraps and did not reveal the news until six months later. Even after their relationship became public, the couple have continued to keep a low profile. While they don't often talk about their relationship, the Monica O My Darling actress and the filmmaker are often spotted travelling together. They also attend several industry gatherings as each other's plus ones. Well, it was Akansha who had first confirmed her relationship with Sharan, sharing, “Yes, I am in a relationship with Sharan. While I have not hidden the fact that I am dating him, I don't like to discuss my personal life too much.”
