Television actress, Akanksha Juneja is one of the most stunning and extremely talented actresses in the telly world. The actress had kick-started her acting journey in the entertainment industry with the show, Mahayatra. After which, she had starred in a series of television shows like C.I.D., Bade Achhe Lagte Hain, The Adventures of Hatim, Adaalat, Ishq Mein Marjawan, Ishqbaaz, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya, and the list goes on.
Apart from her professional success, the actress is single at the moment, and in a recent interview with a news portal, she shockingly revealed that her last relationship was an abusive one. Apart from this, Akanksha Juneja also talked about her relationship status and future plans.

In an interview with the ETimes, Akanksha Juneja opened up about her relationship status and revealed that she's single at the moment. The 32-year-old actress was asked whether there's any specific reason behind her singlehood or if it's like she's waiting for her soulmate. In response to this, the Ishqbaaz actress explained that she is happily married to her work at the moment. However, she also added and accepted that it was her terrible experience in her past relationship that haunts her even to this very day. Adding that, she had been in a serious relationship with someone for three years, Akanksha said:
"Actors' relationships issues have always been under the radar. I have no reason to lie or hide my relationship status -I love the fact that I am single at the moment and am happily married to my work. Having said that, I haven't been single all my life. I was in a serious relationship and that continued for three years."
Going further in the interview, Akanksha Juneja shockingly revealed that she was in an extremely abusive relationship. The actress revealed that her boyfriend used to assault her during their arguments or fights. Akanksha also admitted that she had made a terrible mistake by forgiving her beau as he used to apologise to her after assaulting her physically. Akanksha was also asked when she had finally decided to end her relationship with her ex-boyfriend. Answering this, she said it had happened when her boyfriend had started abusing her quite frequently. She explained:
"But then things turned sour as my partner became abusive and used to physically assault me. After his temper cooled down, my ex always used to accept his mistake, apologise and I used to forgive him -it became a vicious cycle. But then he became frequently abusive so I finally decided to walk out of it."

In the same interview, Akanksha Juneja admitted that her last relationship, which was an abusive one is the prime reason behind her singlehood. However, Akanksha admitted that she isn't a lonely or depressed person at the moment because of the lack of a partner. But she also insisted that having a good and understanding partner in life is indeed no harm. The actress explained:
"If there's no respect in a relationship, nothing else matters. So the reason for me being single is the last abusive relationship I was in. There was a point when I used to lose my cool and couldn't focus on my work and my life was in a mess. And I used feel depressed for days, finally I decided to end it. It's not like I am lonely and miserable without a partner, but I wouldn't mind getting into a relationship with the right person. Yes, my previous experience has made me a bit scared and apprehensive, so I can't commit to anyone that easily."
On the professional front, Akanksha Juneja is receiving immense love from audiences for her performance in the show, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2.
