Aishwarya is very close to her sister-in-law, Shrima Rai, who is a blogger and a fashion influencer. Shrima is quite active on social media, and shares sneak peek from her personal life.
On May 23, 2024, Shrima took to her IG handle and delighted her fans by posting unseen pictures from her wedding with Aishwarya’s brother, Aditya Rai. Shrima posted a few glimpses of the rituals from her wedding with Aditya. In the pictures, Shrima looked gorgeous in a golden-coloured kanjeevarm saree, which she teamed up with traditional jewellery. With gajra-adorned hair, Shrima looked stunning. On the other hand, Aditya donned a maroon-coloured embroidered kurta with a dhoti and a safa.

In the pictures, we got glimpses of Aishwarya Rai as she twinned with her bhabhi in a golden-coloured silk saree, which she paired with a sleeveless blouse and gold jewellery. The actress was seen laughing her heart out while showering flowers on the couple.
Shrima also shared pictures from her wedding reception. In the pictures, she is seen posing with her and Aditya’s family. One of the unseen pictures also featured Aishwarya Rai as she posed for the lens with her bhai, bhabhi, and parents. Aishwarya looked stunning in a powder blue sequined saree with a matching blouse. For her wedding reception, Shrima Rai donned a rani pink lehenga choli. She completed her look with a diamond choker and matching earrings.

Like her nanad, Aishwarya Rai, Shrima Rai is a former beauty queen. She started her career as a model and participated in Mrs India Globe 2009, where she was the first runner-up. In her 20s, Shrima met Aditya for the first time at a party when she visited India. Their respective families played matchmaker between the two. Later, Shrima got married to Aditya and settled in Mumbai. The couple has two sons, Shivansh Rai and Vihaan Rai.
In a throwback interview, Shrima talked about her bond with her nanad, Aishwarya. Stating how she never saw Aishwarya as a star, Shrima shared:
“I don’t see Ash as a superstar. She’s firstly my sister-in-law. But we don’t get to see Ash and Abhishek often. When she drops by, I’m usually at work. Abhishek is a fun guy to be with."
