Bollywood actor, Suniel Shetty is a proud father of two children, Athiya Shetty and Ahan Shetty, who have followed their dad's footsteps and have paved their way into the Hindi film industry. Athiya had made her Bollywood debut with Hero, and Ahan had just made his mark with his film, Tadap.
Athiya and Ahan have a beautiful brother-sister bond, and time and again, we have got a glimpse of their sibling chemistry on their social media platforms. Be it teasing or protecting one another, Ahan and Athiya have always stood by each other's side. Now, in a media interaction, the debutant actor spoke about his sister, Athiya's marriage plans. Athiya and KL Rahul had made their first public appearance at her brother's film premiere.

In an interview with Dainik Bhaskar, Ahan Shetty was asked about his sister, Athiya Shetty's wedding plans. To which, the actor gave a perfect reply and stated these speculations to be rumours. Adding how they celebrated Eid, he said:
"We celebrate Eid at our nanu (grandfather's) place every year. We fondly call him Abbu. That is where we dine. As far as the wedding is concerned, there are no arrangements being made. There is no such ceremony, these are all rumours. When there is no wedding, how can we give you a date?"
Further going into the conversation, Ahan mentioned that their engagement date even hasn't been fixed, so how can there be a wedding. The Tadap actor added that there is no wedding in the next few months. He shared:
"Engagement bhi nahi hui hai. Haal filhaal uski bhi koi planning nahi hai. There is no planning for a wedding in the next few months as well."
A few days back, there were rumours that Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul will be tying the nuptial knot in December 2022. Reports were rife that they will be having a grand South Indian wedding as KL Rahul and Suniel Shetty both belong from Mangalore.

Athiya Shetty and KL Rahul were rumoured to be dating until the two had made it Insta-official by posting pictures with each other and putting captions that hint at their relationship. On April 18, 2022, Athiya Shetty had shared a few love-filled monochrome photos with her boyfriend, KL Rahul on his birthday to make him feel special. Along with them, she had penned a beautiful note that could be read as:
"Anywhere with you, happy birthday."
