Popular actress, Sushmita Sen is known for her bold decisions in her life and savage comments. From adopting two baby girls, Renee and Alisah, and taking full responsibility as a single mother to buying a huge-sized diamond ring for herself in the 90s, Sushmita has never missed a chance to set goals for independent women. However, as we can see an extreme increase in the number of heart attacks nowadays for various reasons, Sushmita was also not far from it. On March 3, 2023, she shared the details of suffering a heart attack and that angioplasty was done along with the placement of a stent. But she didn't take a back seat and returned to rigorous training soon after it.
Taking to her IG handle on March 7, 2023, Sushmita Sen shared a stunning photo of herself, wherein she was seen performing a rigorous workout. She was seen stretching out while lying on a cylindrical object and looked glamorous in a black top paired with printed tights. The picture was taken from her terrace garden, beautifully decorated with small plants. Sharing the picture, she mentioned that after referring to her cardiologist, she decided to work out and also wished everyone on Holi. She wrote:
"#wheeloflife cleared by my cardiologist…stretching begins!!! What a feeling!!! #oneweek #slowandsteady #breathe. This is my “Happy Holi” …how was yours? I love you guys!!! #duggadugga #yourstruly."

On March 4, 2023, Sushmita Sen had conducted a live video session with her fans on her IG handle. During the live session, she thanked everyone who prayed for her good health. She also shared about the angioplasty and stent placement procedure carried out by the able doctors at Nanavati Hospital, Mumbai. She mentioned that the surgery was done after she suffered a 95 per cent blockage in her main artery. Due to this, she had survived a big heart attack and thanked the hospital staff and doctors for the same. She also thanked them for maintaining her privacy.
At the end of the video, she explained how it was only her healthy lifestyle and fitness that had saved her from any other major health crisis. Likewise, Sushmita mentioned the importance of an active lifestyle which helped her fight the major blockage.

Earlier, on January 21, 2023, taking to her IG handle, Sushmita had shared glimpses of her purchase of an expensive beast, a black-coloured Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe. In a video she shared, she was seen unwrapping the luxurious car and brimming with joy and happiness. As per reports, Sushmita's swanky beast features a 3-litre inline-six turbo engine of 2999 cc, which produces 430 Ps and 520 Nm of peak torque. However, it was the price of the car that caught our attention. As per Cardekho.com, the Mercedes-Benz AMG GLE 53 Coupe is priced at Rs. 1.53 crore (ex-showroom), and the on-road price in the capital city of India, New Delhi, is Rs. 1.64 cores.
