Adrien Broner’s legal problem happened after he visited a casino despite being banned
Former four-weight world champion Adrien Broner has landed in legal trouble again, this time for alleged criminal trespass in Florida. As per court filings obtained by TMZ, the charge stems from an April 2024 incident at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino.
Seminole Police say Broner was on a lifetime ban from the property since August 2023, but was found on the premises recently, which triggered the arrest. Sources say the matter has been pending for a long time, and a judge has now issued an arrest warrant. Broner has yet to publicly address the charge.
It is worth mentioning that his trespassing case was dismissed in 2020. The case stemmed from an earlier incident at the MGM Grand. Broner had been told twice in November 2019 that he was not allowed on the property. The reason for the ban was never officially disclosed, but reports at the time linked it to an altercation near Ryan Garcia’s dressing room and a separate complaint from a fan who claimed Broner knocked a phone from his hand while being filmed.
Despite the warning, Broner appeared at the MGM Grand Garden Arena on February 21, 2020, during the public weigh-in for the Deontay Wilder vs. Tyson Fury II rematch. He was seen doing interviews and was reportedly in good spirits. Hotel security recognized him and asked him to leave the premises. When he refused, security detained him and called the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Officers arrested Adrien Broner and took him to the Clark County Detention Center. He was cited for misdemeanor trespassing not amounting to burglary, processed, and released later that evening on a citation. At the time, Broner had not fought since his January 2019 loss to Manny Pacquiao at the same venue. Online court records later showed prosecutors chose not to move forward with the case. The misdemeanor charge was dismissed in late February 2020, closing the matter without further penalty.
Adrien Broner has been facing allegations from another civil lawsuit
Adrien Broner has been previously sued for sexual battery. The allegations were included in a civil lawsuit filed on June 15, 2026, in Los Angeles Superior Court by a woman identified as Havana Saint. According to the complaint, which was first reported on July 23, 2026, the allegations stem from several incidents in June 2026 in California.
Saint claims that after a party on June 2, 2026, Broner encouraged her to drink heavily until she could not drive, and offered her a place to stay. Adrien then allegedly pressured her for sex, exposed himself, and tried to force her hand onto him after she repeatedly said no.
She further alleges that on June 8, 2026, Broner pulled her from a Kick livestream content house in LA County to his Encino home and pressured her again. The suit says the next morning, during a livestream watched by around 20,000 people, he doused her with ice water as humiliation after she refused his advances. The complaint also names streamer Nurideen Shabazz and Kick Streaming for defamation and negligence.
Adrien Broner has dismissed the allegations. During a July 23, 2026, livestream with DeenTheGreat, he read the news on camera, laughed, and said he didn't know about it, later calling the claims fake on Instagram. He said if fake allegations continued because people think he is rich again, he would stop streaming.
