With each passing day since Dhurandhar 2 first dropped in theatres on March 18, 2026, the craze surrounding the movie has only grown. For the unversed, the first part of the film came out at the end of last year, on December 5, 2026. The film has been praised for its well-crafted plot, unexpected twists, and background scores. However, it was Dhurandhar's action sequences that drew the most attention, and there is no doubt that a lot of effort has gone into them, especially behind the scenes. Now, in a recent Instagram post, director, Aditya Dhar credited his team for turning his wild ideas into reality.
On April 15, 2026, Dhurandhar director, Aditya Dhar took to his Instagram handle to share a heartfelt note for his movie's action team. In the post, he opened up about the sheer scale, risk, and creativity that went into the powerful action sequences we now get to see on screen. He wrote that there is a very thin line between conviction and madness, and in this film, he crossed it almost every single day. He explained that he would often pitch extreme concepts to his action team coordinators, who consist of Aejaz Gulab, Sea Young Oh, Yannick Ben, Ramazan Bulut, and Vishal Tyagi. However, no matter what 'outrageous' ideas he threw at them, every time, their answer remained the same: “Okay, let's figure it out.”

Interestingly, Aditya even noted that he found his own ideas unbelievable when he said them out loud. Aditya went on to recall the kind of high-risk action sequences he had envisioned for Dhurandhar – from a man being “cooked inside an industrial pressure cooker” to a character being dragged through crowded streets behind a bike with a noose around his neck. One of the more striking visuals was “thirty men hanging upside down from fans,” which demonstrates Aditya and his team's dedication to larger-than-life action.

While Aditya's tribute to his team was all things wholesome, he made an astonishing revelation about the scale of manpower involved in Dhurandhar. He recounted telling Aejaz that they are running out of stuntmen and that he is seeing the same faces again. To this, he was told, “There's no one left, we've used almost everyone in Mumbai.” Aditya said that more than 400 stunt performers were involved in producing the film's action, and even though the number sounds unreal, it was what it took for Dhurandhar to reach an unprecedented level.

In the same note, Aditya wrote how his incredible team did not just design action, but “choreographed the brilliant climaxes of both parts and built the breathlessness of the Jaskirat massacre in a way that you feel it in your chest.” Praising their precision and ownership, he said that they brought “controlled chaos to life,” be it massive gang wars or intricately designed explosions whose scale, timing and the like gave it a feel of danger coupled with accuracy.

It is to be seen if he decides to expand the Dhurandhar universe further or explore a new concept.
