Yes, you read it right. According to the latest reports, Aditi has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband, Abhineet Kaushik and her in-laws. For the unversed, the couple got married on November 12, 2024 and six months later Abhineet accused Aditi of cheating on him with Samarthya Gupta.

Aditi Sharma has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband, Abhineet Kaushik and his family in Mumbai. An FIR was registered at Goregaon Police Station on July 31, 2026, against her husband, Abhineet Kaushik, mother-in-law, Urmila Kaushik, and sister-in-law, Kirti Kaushik. Currently, the investigation is underway. According to her complaint, the Kaleerein actress has accused the three of physical and mental harassment, domestic violence, assault, verbal abuse, questioning her character and misusing her bridal jewellery.
In the police complaint, Aditi mentioned that she first met Abhineet during an online acting class in June 2021 and eventually their friendship developed into a relationship. In September 2024, the duo reportedly began living together in an apartment in Goregaon West. Later, in the same year, on November 12, 2024, the two got married with the consent of both their families.
According to Aditi, Abhineet’s behaviour changed soon after their marriage. She alleged that frequent arguments began over her clothing and minor issues. She further claimed that instead of contributing towards household expenses, her husband regularly took money from her. In the complaint, Aditi mentioned how an argument over coffee on January 1, 2025, turned into an abuse. Following the incident, Abhineet reportedly became suspicious of Aditi’s character, accused her of having an affair, frequently checked her mobile phone and eventually started sleeping in a separate room.
Aditi claimed that she was also prevented from speaking to her parents. In her complaint, the Apollena – Sapno Ki Unchi Udann star accused her mother-in-law of retaining her bridal jewellery, including gold chains, rings, a diamond ring, mangalsutra and bangles. She claimed that despite repeated requests, the jewellery was never returned.

Earlier, in a 2025 interview with Indian Forums, Aditi reacted to Abhineet’s allegations against her. She shared that right after one month of getting married, she faced unbearable marital disputes. It is worth mentioning that back then Aditi sought separation from her husband. In her words:
"Right after a month of getting married, I was facing unbearable marital disputes. I was facing a lot of misbehaviour and other things which I cannot disclose right now because that is going to go ahead in the court; that is why I sought separation, and I wanted it very peacefully. Both families talked and decided that we should separate amicably. He has disrespected me and my family in front of our friends multiple times."
Aditi shared that she never disrespected her in-laws and genuinely loved Abhineet. She clarified that her marriage to Abhineet was a private ceremony and not secret. Explaining it further, Aditi said:
"I genuinely loved him. I am going to speak the truth and not hide anything. My family, my close friends, my relatives knew about it. It was not a secret thing, but it was private. I have a decent career, and we thought it wouldn’t be wise to suddenly put it out in public right now as I was also shooting for Apollena at that time, and my character in the show was of an 18-year-old girl. So both of us decided not to disclose it publicly."
