Controversy queen, Rakhi Sawant has been hitting all the headlines, soon after her ex-husband, Adil Khan Durrani made some shocking revelations about the actress. For the unversed, Rakhi started dating Adil in May 2022. After making everyone go gaga over their mushy camaraderie, Adil and Rakhi announced their wedding in April 2023. After that, things turned upside down when in January 2023, the duo parted ways after an ugly spat. For the unversed, Rakhi made some serious allegations about Adil, including domestic violence, extramarital affair, performing unnatural sex, miscarriage, and more. And things took a shocking turn as Adil, who has been in jail for five months, recently dismissed all such allegations and claims made by Rakhi.
At a press conference, Adil Khan Durrani revealed that Rakhi wanted to follow the path of Islamic religion. Talking along the same line, Adil shared that he is a normal person with an Islamic background and Rakhi and he met through a common friend in Mumbai. Adil further added that it was Rakhi who continuously used to come to Mysore to meet him, and she slowly observed that Adil is from an Islamic background. Speaking more about the same, Adil stated:
"Rakhi used to continuously come to Mysore. She got to know about my family and business. Slowly and slowly, she observed that I was an Islamic guy. Rakhi knew I come from an Islamic background. When we had conversations, I would tell her, 'I will call you back as I have to do namaz'."

Further, in the interview, Adil Khan Durrani stated that Rakhi once told him that she wants to be like Sana Khan and wear an abaya like the actress. Adil also mentioned that Rakhi had asked him to teach her how to read namaz and do roza. Adil also shared that he has always told Rakhi to do it on her own will. Speaking along the same line, Adil mentioned:
"Rakhi thought of an Islam angle. She told me, 'I want to become like Sana Khan, wear an abaya like her'. She asked me to make her learn how to do namaz and roza. I taught her because of her interest. I always told her to do it out of her own will, and not because of me. She started doing that."
In the same conversation, Adil Khan Durrani revealed that Rakhi Sawant insisted that he marries her. He shared that he asked for 2-3 years from Rakhi so that he could convince his family. But Rakhi used to insist on him and told him that she would wear an abaya and do Umrah and hajji with him so that Adil's family could see this and agree upon their relationship. Adil mentioned that although he asked for few times as he didn't know the actress well when she mentioned that she would follow the Islamic path with him, Adil agreed to marry her eventually.

In an interview with Bollywood Bubble, Adil Khan Durrani slammed Rakhi's claims about suffering a miscarriage and mentioned that Rakhi had a uterus removal operation. Soon after, Rakhi dropped a video, claiming that she went through a uterus surgery because of the growth of fibroids in it. We could also see Rakhi's gynaecologist, Dr Veena Shinde, in the same video, who agreed with Rakhi's claims and stated that the actress can be a mother as her uterus is fine.
