Maera Mishra is one of the most famous actresses in the television industry. The actress rose to fame with her stint in Spiltsvilla 11. Apart from that, she was also seen in several other series and television shows. Moreover, it's her role in the popular series, Bhagya Lakshmi, with which she carved a special space in the hearts of her fans. Talking about her personal life, after breaking up with Adhyayan Summan, the actress found love in the arms of the Delhi-based dermatologist, Rajul Yadav. The duo is gearing up on their personal fronts almost after a year of dating, as they are all set to exchange rings soon.
In a recent interview with ETimes, Maera Mishra confirmed the news of getting engaged to the love of her life, Rajul Yadav. The actress shared that she and Rajul will exchange rings on April 24, 2024, and the preparations for the same are going on. The actress further mentioned that all of her co-stars will attend the ceremony and deliver performances, while she has also planned a surprise performance for her soon-to-be-fiance. Maera shared:
“The preparations are underway in full swing. My co-actors will attend the engagement and are finalising their performances. My performance is a surprise for Rajul."

For the unversed, Maera and Rajul first bumped into each other at a wedding in December 2022, and after that, they met again at a mutual friend's birthday party. Talking more about Rajul, Maera said that she knew he would stay when she first met him. She shared that she was not initially looking to get involved in a relationship, but later, they got fully committed to one another. The actress further mentioned that she and Rajul had been in a long-distance relationship, and it was not easy, but both of them used to ensure that they spent quality time with one another, which is why they used to shuttle between Delhi and Mumbai.
Going further in the interview, Maera Mishra mentioned that she didn't want to be in a relationship with anyone, especially from the industry, but it was Raju's simplicity and sincerity that captivated her heart. Sharing more about the same, Maera revealed that Rajul is genuine and hardworking, and her parents love him. Stating that Rajul is the first guy who met her mom, Maera mentioned that as everything was right, they decided to take one step forward and make it official by getting engaged. In Maera's words:
"I wasn’t actively seeking to be in a relationship. Additionally, I didn’t want to date anyone from the industry. However, Rajul charmed me with his simplicity and sincerity. He is genuine, respectful, and hardworking. My parents adore him. In fact, he is the first guy my mom has met. We wanted to take the next step and hence, decided to get engaged to make it official.”

In the concluding segment of the interview, Maera Mishra stated that she will shift to Delhi after her wedding with Rajul, as the latter cannot shift to Mumbai for his mom and grandmother. Maera further added that she will shuttle between Delhi and Mumbai and will have to balance her personal and professional lives. She also remarked that she would take up any freelance work based in Delhi.
