Wedding season is on for many small-screen celebrities. Actor Himanshu Soni, who is currently playing Lord Shiva in the popular show, Neeli Chatri Waale, is all set to tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend who is also a producer, Sheetal Singh. The couple is all set for a lavish destination wedding on November 27, at a heritage property in Jaipur. It will be a three-day celebration with close friends and family in attendance.

The wedding will take place in both North Indian and South Indian styles. The two met when Himanshu was playing the lead role in a show called Buddha, which was being co-produced by Sheetal. In an interview to TOI, he said:
“I was going through a low in my personal life, but she boosted my confidence. She became my friend, philosopher and guide. She motivated me to stay positive and resolve the issues of life."

When asked that who proposed first, he happily replied:
"It was while shooting the enlightenment sequence that I proposed her, but she took her time and reciprocated only after the show got over."
He has taken a 10-day vacation from his shoot and will soon resume his shooting for a new show, Suryaputra Karn, where he will be seen essaying the role of Lord Krishna. This is the fourth divine character that he is playing on small-screen. He added, “It feels as if I am born to play God. I was thrilled when I was offered Krishna. What's interesting is that I'm playing a modern Shivaye and traditional Krishna." When asked about his honeymoon plans, he said, "I have no immediate plans for a honeymoon as I have to resume the shoot."
