Shah Rukh Khan is one of the most bankable actors in the Hindi film industry. The Badshah of Bollywood, whose net worth is approximately Rs. 5000 crores, is hailed for his acting prowess. In 1991, Shah Rukh Khan married his ladylove, Gauri Khan and together, they welcomed their first child, Aryan Khan, in 1997. In 2000, the couple welcomed their daughter, Suhana, and after 13 years, Shah Rukh Khan and Gauri embraced parenthood for the third time with the arrival of their third child, AbRam, via surrogacy.
Just like many A-listed celebrities, Shah Rukh Khan’s son, AbRam studies in one of the most expensive schools in India. AbRam is a student of Mumbai’s most reputed school, Dhirubhai Ambani International School. We have often seen AbRam participating in various school activities and his family accompanying the star kid and cheering for him. However, the whopping school fees of the star kid made our jaws drop.
The fee structure at the Dhirubhai Ambani International School varies from class to class. As per various reports, the monthly fees of class LKG to class 7th is Rs. 1.70 lakhs. From class 8 to class 10th, the fee is Rs. 4.48 lakhs, and the fees of class for class 11th and 12th is approximately 9.65 lakhs. Going by the fee structure of the school, AbRam’s monthly fee is reportedly Rs. 1.70 lakhs, which makes his annual fee Rs. 20.40 lakhs approximately.
Counted among one of the leading schools in India, Dhirubhai Ambani International School was established in 2003 by Mukesh Ambani’s wife, Nita Ambani. It has been an IB World School since then. Spread across 1,30,000 square feet, the school features modern amenities and holistic teaching. The school is a seven-story building with well-furnished classrooms, landscaped playgrounds, an internet facility, fully air-conditioned classes, a terrace garden, tennis courts, and an Activity Centre.
Named after Dhirubhai Ambani, the school offers a two-year International Baccalaureate Diploma Program (IBDP). Dhirubhai Ambani International School is affiliated with the CAIE (Cambridge Assessment International Education) and CISCE (Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations). The prestigious institute also prepares its students for the IGCSE (International General Certificate of Secondary Education) and the ICSE (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) Year 10 examinations.
Counted among one of the best co-educational day schools. Not just Shah Rukh Khan’s kids, Aryan, Suhana and AbRam, but Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan’s daughter, Aaradhya, is also an alumni of the school. Apart from this, star kids like Azad Rao Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Khushi, Sara Ali Khan, Ibrahim Ali Khan, Sara Tendulkar, Arjun Tendulkar, and many others are associated with the elite school.
We have often seen AbRam participating in various events at Dhirubhai Ambani International School. In 2019, the school hosted its annual day, and it was AbRam’s cute glimpse that stole our hearts. AbRam looked adorable in white shorts and a blue shirt with little makeup. He was accompanied by his father, Shah Rukh Khan.
Shah Rukh Khan dotes on his kids, Suhana, Aryan and AbRam and his social media handles and interviews are proof of the same. For instance, in an interview with DNA, Shah Rukh talked about his little son, AbRam and revealed how he loves chilling with him, unlike his elder kids, Aryan and Suhana. Talking about the same, the doting father revealed how AbRam gets excited to see his father's fans from the balcony and waves at them. Elaborating on the same, SRK said:
"I think he loves being around me. Unlike Suhana and Aryan, he is more people-friendly. He gets happy seeing my fans. On my birthdays, he would just come out to the balcony every hour. The fans keep screaming my name and he comes running to me and says, ‘Papa, peoples have come. Let’s go meet them’. He calls them ‘peoples’ and then, he drags me out because he enjoys waving out to them. He’s a smart, intelligent kid and extremely fun to be with. And with him, I become a kid myself."
