Popular stars, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are one of the power couples in Bollywood. Even after fifteen years of marital bliss, they never miss a chance to paint the town red with their mushy PDAs. For the unversed, the madly-in-love couple tied the knot in 2007 and was blessed with a beautiful daughter, Aardhaya Bachchan in 2011. Moreover, it is Abhishek who gives relationship goals with his immense support and love for his ladylove.
On November 1, 2022, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan turned forty-nine years old. Undoubtedly, wishes were pouring from all sides. However, it was her darling hubby, Abhishek Bachchan who penned the most adorable birthday wish for his wifey. He took to his IG handle and posted an unseen picture of Aishwarya from her younger days. In the photo, Aishwarya looked gorgeous as always in a cotton saree paired with a checkered blouse, a simple braided hairdo, and she was seen wearing a gajra or her hair. Alongside it, Abhishek had lovingly written:
"Happy Birthday, wifey! Love, light, peace and eternal success."

In an interview with Galatta Plus, Abhishek was asked about his opinions on commercial acting, which is highly criticised. To this, he praised the other actors in the industry who could strike a balance between the two types of acting. While talking about this, he took up the notion of his wife, Aishwarya's hard work in this discipline of acting and challenged the critics. In his words:
“Please don’t be mistaken, there is an elite skill-set required to pull that off… A lot of the time, we look down upon commercial acting, it’s not easy… I dare anybody to do what Rajini uncle does… It’s not easy, I keep telling people that… You go and dance in Alaska in minus-30 in a chiffon saree, you pull that off and convince me you can do that, I’ll be impressed with you. You do ‘Nimbooda Nimbooda’ like Aishwarya did, or you do Devdas and pull it off with that kind of elan and grace that Aishwarya and Madhuri did. Try and do it, it’s not easy.”
Coming to Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abishek Bachchan's oh-so-beautiful chemistry, they had mesmerised their fans with their on-screen romance too in more than eight films together. After their one such film, Raavan, directed by Mani Ratnam in 2010, Aishwarya was honoured with the fourth-highest civilian award in the country, the Padma Shri Award. During that time, in a candid conversation with News18, Abhishek was asked whether he was upset that he wasn't awarded the Padma Shri award. To this, the loving husband had replied wittily and mentioned that he wasn't upset at all. Further citing that whatever is Aishwarya's is his. Thus revealing his proud moment for his darling wife, the actor had said:
"Not at all. I don't think I have done anything to deserve that honour so far. On second thoughts, I have got a Padma Shri - whatever belongs to me is Ash's and vice-versa. So her award is mine as well. Wish I could explain my happiness for her. I am so proud that my girl has got the honour she deserves."

Jumping in between the conversation, Aishwarya had mentioned that her husband is her inspiration and that he is always supportive of her. She also revealed that Abhishek has the power to solve her confusion like magic. Concluding the conversation, the actress added that Abhishek is her real 'Padma Shri' and that she is his 'Padma Shrimati.' Aishwarya had added:
“Abhishek is my source of inspiration. He is always so supportive. Whenever I am confused and don't know what to do, I look at him and he solves the duality in me like magic. He is the real 'Padma Shri' and I'm his 'Padma Shrimati.”
