In September 2019, Aayush had confirmed the news of Arpita’s pregnancy at the red carpet of IIFA. Arpita had chosen her brother, Salman Khan’s birthday i.e., December 27, 2019, to welcome her little bundle of joy as it was her birthday gift for her brother. On December 27, 2019, Aayush had taken to his Instagram handle and had revealed the name of his little angel. He had written, “We’ve been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Thank you so much for all the love and blessings for Ayat Sharma."
Aayush Sharma and Arpita Khan Sharma often share adorable pictures of their little ones and February 2, 2020, was no different. Aayush took to his Instagram handle and gave a pleasant treat to all his fans as he posted a drool-worthy picture of his wife, Arpita cuddling their tiny tots, Ahil Sharma and Ayat Sharma. On December 31, 2019, Arpita and her angel had gotten discharged from Hinduja hospital and 'daddy dearest', Aayush had planned a special surprise for his baby girl. He had welcomed her with a cute setup full of candy-coloured balloons. And oh boy, it took our heart away! The actor had taken to his Instagram handle and had shared the picture and video of the same, and had written, "Welcome home @arpitakhansharma AHIL & AYAT Thank you @balloon.blushh. it’s really special."
In an interaction with the Hindustan Times, Aayush had shared that Ayat was a gift to Salman. He had said, "The due date was last week of December or first week of January. When we told this to everyone, Bhai (as Salman is lovingly called) was excited and said ‘give me a gift’. So, it was a conscious decision to bring Ayat into this world on that day. It is a very good omen to have her on Bhai’s birthday... Also, it saves me from giving multiple parties! Arpita has a habit of throwing lavish parties, so I was anyway thinking how much I’ve got to earn to celebrate hers, mine, Ahil’s (three-year-old son) and Ayat’s birthdays. Now, we all can go to the farmhouse, where on one side, we can celebrate Bhai’s birthday and the other side can be booked for the kid’s party."
