It is the season of love and weddings, but we have been hearing a lot of divorce rumours and news as well. From Hollywood couple, Camila Cabello and Shawn Mendes to the rumour of Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas' separation- the breakup phase is tough! Here's what the actor, Shaad Randhawa, has been going through as he and his wife, Pooja Thakkar are living separately.
Bollywood actor, Shaad Randhawa has worked in many films as a supporting and main cast like in Aashiqui 2, Woh Lamhe, Hate Story 4, Malang, etc., along with some TV serials. He has also worked in a daily soap, Chandrakanta. He loves to maintain a good physique and thus follows a balanced diet, proper workout and a healthy lifestyle.
Well, Shaad Randhawa and Pooja Thakkar have been married for ten years but, they have been living separately for a few months now as their relationship has hit a hard rock. Apparently, there had been some trouble brewing in their relationship, which they both couldn't eradicate. Even though the actor hasn't confirmed the same yet, the rumour mills are going abuzz. A close source to the actor revealed:
“Shaad and Pooja have been living separately for the past few months. The two are trying to sort out their differences, and hopefully, things will get better. They have two children - a seven-year-old boy and a three-year-old girl.”
A few years ago in 2014, Shaad Randhawa had opened up about his wife, Pooja Thakkar and had revealed how lucky he feels to be married to her in an interview with Filmfare. He had said:
“She’s not from a film background. She has a construction business with her father. It’s been three blissful years of marriage. She’s witnessed my dark phase and stayed by my side throughout. I value her.”
For the unversed, he is legendary actress Mumtaz's nephew and shares a close bond with his aunt. As an actor, he has faced many ups and downs and at that time, his aunt has always helped him out. Talking about her in the same interview, the actor had revealed:
“When I told her I wanted to become an actor, she told me it was the toughest thing in the world. She told me never to expect anything from her. She’d tell me stories of her heydays… how from a dancer she got a break in B-movies and then she became a star in A-projects. Every time I feel low, I call her up and she goes, ‘I told you so!’ She encourages me and at the same time is honest too. She tells me in which scene I was brilliant and where I was weak. She’s one of the reasons why I didn’t lose my sanity when I was out of work. Somewhere she had planted it in my head that it was not going be a bed of roses. I thank her for that.”
Well, all that said and done, we hope the actor rekindles his relationship with his wife, Pooja Thakkar, soon! On the professional front, Shaad Randhawa will be next seen in the movie, Satyamev Jayate 2, along with John Abraham.
