But Aanchal Khurana, who was part of her brother, Shehbaz Badesha's season of Bigg Boss, talked about the brother-sister duo.

Recently, in an interview with Telly Masala, Aanchal Khurana talked about Shehnaaz Gill and shared that on-camera, her personality has come across as an innocent person, but she is cunning. Aanchal further added that she has stayed in Punjab for eight months, and she has listened to a lot of things about Shehnaaz Gill, which are not nice. She doesn't have a good background in Punjab. She said:
"Shehnaaz is self-obsessed, she is low IQ, but people edit her to think like that, she comes out to be a very bholi, cute ladki. She is chant, and I have stayed eight months in Punjab, pichle 8 mahine mai ne kya kya baate nahi suni hai. Shehnaaz Gill ka background Punjab ka kitna badnaam tha but Bigg Boss mein aur Mujhse Shaadi Karogi Mein unhone edit aisa kya hai ki vo Shehbaz and Shehnaaz bade hi funny aur ache lagte hai, but badtmeej log hai. Shehbaz toh badtmeej hai."
Aanchal further added that she knows that after this, Shehbaz would come after her, but she is not scared of him. She recalled that during Bigg Boss she had called him 'Fuddu', but she doesn't know if it is abuse, but in Delhi it is slang. After that, Shehbaz called her a lot of things. However, it wasn't shown on camera; only her words were shown.
However, Shehnaaz Gill's fans quickly came to her rescue. One user wrote, "Keep going girl Negative or Positive Shehnaaz Gill is still ruling effortlessly." Another one penned, "Shehnaaz and Shehbaz never claimed themselves as bholi ladki... They're real as they could be; it's good or bad, they're never afraid to show it to the public, and that's the reason we love them so much."
A third user penned, "Lage rho shehnaaz ka naam lete rho koi kaam mil hi jayega..baise isko pay kon kr rha hoga yeh sab bolne ke liye?" A fourth one wrote, "Shehnaaz Gill doesn’t need anyone’s approval. Her work and personality speak for themselves. And who are you to judge her?"
After Shehnaaz Gill came out of Bigg Boss 13, fans who had followed her lauded her for her weight loss journey. But years later, Shehnaaz revealed that her weight loss became a necessity as she was bodyshamed. In an interview with SMTV, Shehnaaz Gill bared her heart out. The actress, who is all set for the release of her upcoming Punjabi film, Ik Kudi, talked about her weight transformation post her participation in the reality show, Bigg Boss 13. Shehnaaz revealed that the inspiration behind her transformation was the massive body-shaming she faced inside the show.
