Aamir Khan's daughter, Ira Khan tied the knot with Nupur Shikhare in an intimate registered wedding in Mumbai. The ceremony was attended by the Ambanis as well. However, it was the groom, Nupur's choice of clothing, that left millions irked. The groom, Nupur was seen decked up in gym wear while he signed his marriage document. However, Ira was decked up in an indo-western ensemble.
On January 3, 2024, several pictures and videos of Ira's registered wedding made rounds on the internet. The star daughter was seen donning a golden-hued dhoti with a contrasting black embroidered blouse and a dupatta which was pinned over her head. She also wore kohlapuri flat for her big day. While she looked pretty, it was Nupur's weird clothing choice that raised many eyebrows. Nupur came straight to the celebration donning a black vest and a pair of shorts.

In another video, we can see Nupur and Ira posing for the paps. For the pap session, Nupur was decked up in a blue-toned sherwani. On the other hand, the bride, Ira was dolled up in a choker neckpiece, matching earrings, and a mang teeka.

Nupur Shikhare proposed to his ladylove, Ira, in Bollywood style. He had taken part in the famous Iron Man Italy Show in Italy. During the stint, he popped the question and gave a ring to Ira.
