For the unversed, Aamir Khan had walked down the aisle with film producer, Reena Dutta in 1986, and the couple had a silent divorce in 2002. Together, the couple had welcomed two kids, Junaid Khan and Ira Khan, into their lives. After this, Aamir had got married to filmmaker-producer, Kiran Rao in 2005. The couple had welcomed a son, Azaad Rao Khan, in 2011 via surrogacy. Unfortunately, on July 3, 2021, Aamir and Kiran had announced their divorce in a joint statement.

According to ETimes, Aamir Khan's mother, Zeenat Hussain suffered a severe heart attack and is currently admitted to Mumbai's Breach Candy Hospital. The actor's mother was rushed immediately to the hospital after she suffered a heart attack while she was staying at her Panchagani house. As soon as the doting son was informed about the same, Aamir wasted no time and reached the hospital to be with his mother, who was admitted straight into the emergency. As per multiple reports, Aamir celebrated this year's Diwali with his mother, and during that time, she looked quite fit and healthy, which is why the news of Aamir's mother suffering a major heart attack left everyone both shocked and sad. However, as per the latest reports, Zeenat Hussain is quite stable now.
Just like any mother-son duo in the world, Aamir Khan is also quite close to Zeenat Hussein. Time and again, we have seen him sharing pictures with his mother and showering his immense love and care to her. For instance, on Mother's Day, Aamir had posted a series of pictures from his childhood days. In the pictures, he could be seen enjoying himself to the fullest with his dearest mommy, Zeenat. In other pictures, we could also see his father, Tahir Hussain, his brother Faisal Khan and his sister, Nikhat Khan. While sharing the cutesy pictures, the doting son had wished his mother, Zeenat on the special day with a cute one-liner, and it could be read as:
"Ammi and me. Best Mom in the world!"

During one of the launch events for Aamir Khan's film, Laal Singh Chaddha's song, Kahani, the actor had talked about his mother, Zeenat Hussain. The doting son shared how he always shows his films to his mother and the kids in their family before their release, as it's quite important for him. When the actor was asked whether his mother tells him whenever she doesn't like his film, answering this, Aamir admitted that his mom clearly says that she doesn't like it if she feels that the movie isn't good. The actor also revealed how his mother used to react when she didn't like any of his films, Aamir had stated:
"Ammi ka pehla reaction main hamesha leta hu uske baad bachhon ka leta hu. When Ammi does not like a film, she will say 'hatao isko ye kya banaya hai'. She says this in a cute way."
On the professional front, Aamir Khan was last seen in the film, Laal Singh Chaddha.
