Amid that, the actor’s friend shared details on Aamir’s emotional side and revealed how much he has cried after going through heartbreaks.

Aamir Khan has faced a lot of backlash for being involved in multiple relationships. Netizens have often been disgusted with his idea of getting married multiple times and having kids with them. However, recently, one of Aamir Khan’s friends, Amin Hajee revealed the actor’s ideology regarding marriages. The friend explained:
"I've known Aamir for over 35 years, and have always admired his respect for the institution of marriage. Many people become cynical after a failed relationship, but not him. He has always treated marriage with dignity. People often joke about his personal life, but what they don't see is how honest and fair he has been. Every time he has moved on in life, he has done so responsibly. He has always ensured that his former family and children were looked after. Very few people acknowledge this."
Further, the friend also shared details about Aamir Khan’s emotional side. While netizens think that it was very easy for the Lagaan actor to move on from his previous two failed marriages, his friend has a completely different opinion. Amin explained that Aamir Khan has cried a lot after experiencing heartbreaks. He was quoted as saying:
"People make jokes about him finding love again after many years, but 15 years is a long time. I have seen him go through heartbreak. I have seen him cry. Relationships are never as simple as outsiders imagine, and it's unfair to assume only one person is responsible when a marriage ends."
Aamir Khan breaks silence on ‘love-jihad’ allegations
Prior to Amin Hajee’s revelations, Aamir Khan also sat down for an interview, during which he broke his silence on the ‘love-jihad’ allegations. He mentioned that his life is getting comical every day. Explaining his family dynamics, Aamir Khan shared:
"The truth is that ours is a very inclusive family. Both my sisters are married to Hindus; my daughter is also married to a Hindu. My cousin Mansoor is married to a Christian. Neither Gauri, Kiran nor Reena converted their religion, as we had civil marriages. Gauri is not even Hindu, she is Christian, and not even a practising Christian at that. Life is getting more comical as time passes."
For those who do not know, Aamir and Gauri got married on July 5, 2026, at his Bandra home. The ceremony was attended by not more than 100-150 guests. Reportedly, it included the couple’s family and close friends. Soon after, they left on their honeymoon. A few days ago, reports claimed that Aamir Khan will be shifting into a Rs. 100 crore apartment. Allegedly, the actor’s ex-wives will also be living with them.
Aamir Khan and Gauri Spratt met 25 years ago
As per reports, the couple first met nearly 25 years ago. However, at that time nothing happened between them and they eventually lost touch. Years later, they reconnected and fell in love with each other. Aamir Khan introduced Gauri as his girlfriend on his 60th birthday. Since then they have made multiple public appearances. It is worth noting that Gauri Spratt’s IG feed features several photos with her now husband, Aamir.
