Bigg Boss OTT 2 has been dominating all the headlines since it hit the screens on June 17, 2023. For the unversed, this year, the show has been graced by popular faces from the industry. One such individual is Nawazuddin Siddiqui's ex-wife, Aaliya Siddiqui. However, Aaliya got evicted from the Bigg Boss house after Salman Khan slammed her for bringing up her personal matters on the show. And now, in an interview, Aaliya mentioned that Salman's statement about her was completely incorrect. She also addressed Pooja Bhatt's accusation of her playing the victim card.
In a recent interview with Pinkvilla, Aaliya stated that while it can be expected that a star will support another star, Salman's statement about her bringing her past into the house was incorrect. Nawazuddin's ex-wife also shared the details about why she talked about her personal life in the first place. Aaliya mentioned that she was insisted on twice by Abhishek Malhan, who asked her to share details about her personal life. Elaborating more on the same, Aaliya stated:
"While it is expected for a star to support another star, Salman Khan's statement about me constantly bringing up my past with Nawazuddin on the show is incorrect. In the span of 12 days, I only mentioned Nawaz and our past twice, and it was done for a specific reason. Abhishek (Malhan) insisted that I share my personal life with him since he was unaware of the details. It was a brief and general discussion that lasted for merely five minutes. The second time I spoke about it was when we were in the kitchen, and Abhishek inquired about my love story. Even then, my response was minimal."

Further, in the interview, Aaliya mentioned that it is understandable that due to his past collaborations with her ex-husband, Nawazuddin, Salman supported the latter. For the unversed, Salman and Nawaz were seen in the movies, Kick and Bajrangi Bhaijaan. Aaliya also added that she didn't let it bother her much because she had already anticipated Salman's inclination toward Nawazuddin. Aaliya said:
"While everyone was discussing their personal lives, Salman singled me out. It's understandable that he would naturally support Nawazuddin, considering their past collaborations and support for each other. However, I didn't let this bother me too much because I already anticipated his inclination towards Nawazuddin. Frankly, it doesn't impact me. In fact, I acknowledged my own mistakes and offered an apology.
In the same interview, Aaliya also addressed Pooja Bhatt's accusation about her playing the victim card. She mentioned that from the beginning she has made it clear that she isn't seeking pity; rather, she has always raised her voice against injustice. Aaliya further revealed that before the premiere of BB OTT 2, Salman questioned her why she had come here if she hadn't accomplished anything. Aaliya questioned whether it was possible for anyone 'not so famous' to survive in the house, which is filled with popular faces.

In another interview with Indian Express, Aaliya talked about the same and stated that it shows how one holds power against another, and she is not scared to say this at all. Aaliya added while everyone, like Falaq Naaz and Pooja Bhatt were bringing their personal lives on the show, only she was singled out.
In an episode of Bigg Boss OTT 2, superstar Salman Khan was seen interacting with housemates and schooling them on their behaviour. The actor was seen slamming his co-star, Nawazuddin's ex-wife, Aaliya for bringing up her past on the show. Salman even mentioned that nobody is least interested in her personal life, and she has already spoken much about it inside and outside the house.
