One of the famous and handsome television actors, Anas Rashid entered the doubles club lately, leaving all his female fans shattered. Unlike many other actors, he took the arranged marriage path. The heartthrob of small screen walked down the aisle with a Chandigarh girl named, Heena Iqbal on September 10, 2017, in an intimate ceremony.

So when lately the actor was asked about the wedding, here’s what the actor gushed:
“Everyone kept complimenting us how great we looked together. Our wedding attire also received a lot of appreciation and we were blushing because of the praises. Being the eldest in the house, I was so elated to see my family happy. It was a feeling that I can’t even describe in words. I was nervous, happy, restless and what not. It was the best day in my life for sure.”
Further, on being asked if Heena will be able to mingle with his family, he stated:
“It doesn’t seem that she is new in the family. Heena has already won over everyone and she has seamlessly blended with the family. Everyone loves and adores her and she too has been reciprocating it with equal love. As of now, she hasn’t cooked anything but my mother and sisters are helping her in understanding these things.”

After their reception, when the groom was asked how it feels after tying the knot in real life, he told Bombay Times:
“I feel content and complete. During the wedding, Heena's friends asked me how it feels to be married in real life after tying the knot on-screen. I said I had the liberty to take a break whenever I was tired in reel life, but in real life, there is no action or cut (laughs)."
When he was asked about his choice and why he opted for an arranged set up, he quipped:
“I had complete faith on my parents' choice. Also, I felt that I was ready to take on the responsibilities associated with an arranged marriage, which is to take the immediate and extended families along. Heena is the perfect life partner for me. She is very honest and simple; these two qualities attracted me to her.”

And when he was asked about the party for his industry friends, he replied:
“We will have a party for all my Mumbai friends and associates once I am there. I want all of them to meet Heena.”
Since Heena is not from the fraternity, questions are cropping up in everyone’s mind on how she will be able to adjust to it. Here’s what the doting husband said:
“She knows more about the industry than me; she is friends with a lot of singers and assistant directors. She had even followed my show religiously for the initial two-and-a-half years till I help Sandhya (Deepika Singh) become an IPS officer. Heena is very excited to come to Mumbai and meet my friends. I will take her around the city and have her experience the night life as well. Let's see how she adjusts here.”
When the actor was asked if he will support his wife if in future she aspires to take up acting route, he said:
“She told me that she got a lot of acting offers in the Punjabi industry, but she declined them as she doesn't have the patience required for this profession. If she wants to act, I would tell her to take a cue from my experience in the industry. I would support her."
After the wedding, the next thing is the honeymoon. So, here’s what he stated on this:
"We haven't planned anything yet. Heena knows more about this than me and I trust her choice. She knows my taste and we will zero in on a destination keeping both our choices in mind."
