Indian weddings are full of dhamaal-masti and shahi khaana. But above all, it’s an occasion that gives everyone a platform to flaunt their desi style. Every girl might have dreamt of her wedding atleast once in her childhood. On reaching a marriageable age, she starts to dream bigger for her special day. Who wouldn’t want to make their wedding a memorable event of a lifetime? We all would! What adds to the excitement of a bride-to-be is her wedding trousseau. Every bride will want to dress in the most exclusive outfit on her big day, an outfit so unique that her groom would have his eyes popped out on getting a sight of her.
With passing time, we’ve come across brides who’ve dropped out of the chain of monochromatic red lehengas. Leaving aside the typical hues of bridal outfits, now is the era of multi-shades. It's so fascinating to see a tinge of creativity put to use while designing a super-duper outfit for the bride. It goes without saying that a bride-to-be might be having a cluster of ideas in her mind for her bridal outfit and might need the help of ten other people to help her make the ideal choice. However, she always manages to look extraordinary on her wedding day and wins many hearts! Well, we’re here to look at one such bride who turned the tables around by opting for a lehenga with a mingle of different hues.
Meet Prabhjot Kaur, a Punjabi kudi and a dentist by profession, who recently embarked on her marital journey with her soulmate. She had her wedding organised in the beautiful city of Punjab, Chandigarh. What drew our attention to this gorgeous bride, was her wedding ensemble. You’ll know it for yourself when you check out her pictures below. Prabhjot Kaur opted for a bridal lehenga that had a mix of different colours. She broke the monotonous concept of wearing a simple laal rang ka lehenga and rather sided with a polychromatic outfit. Her thick-bordered lehenga was mainly of the colour maroon, her embroidered blouse was in a magenta shade, and her semi-embellished dupatta complemented the outfit in a dark green colour. Prabhjot's lehenga looked splendid on her as the colours highlighted her overall look. The lehenga-choli had a detailed golden work crafted all over it and that added to the perfection of her attire.
She accentuated her unique wedding outfit by accessorising it with a simple kundan set. She donned a choker neckpiece, a maang teeka, a nath, and long dangling earrings, which comprised of pearls and mirrored stones. That's not it! What is a bride without her red chooda and golden kaleeras? Prabhjot also completed her look with chooda and sea-shell kaleeras.
What enhanced Prabhjot's look was her choice of makeup. She opted for a subtle and natural look, with shimmery-smokey eyes and detailed eyebrows. She added a tiny round bindi on her forehead that made her look like a proper desi bride. Prabhjot Kaur chose a neat hairdo and had her hair tied up in a bun style. There were red roses around her bun that looked even more beautiful from the back. The sleek hairdo gave the bride a very elegant and classic look. You're not going to believe but her pictures below are completely without edits and you can see how flawless does she still look! We just can't get our eyes off her limitless beauty.
Aren't we all literally drooling over her pictures? Let's admit that Prabhjot Kaur looked dreamy and spectacular in her three-coloured ensemble. Eager to know from where had she picked up her wedding outfit? Well, it's from one of Chandigarh's finest and biggest bridal stores, Poshak. The brand has done an amazing job at designing a Polychromatic outfit that looked so fine!
On the other hand, her groom, Gandharv Sharma looked equally dashing. He donned a beige coloured outfit with golden embroidery work on it. He paired it with the same shade safa and a red sherwani dupatta. The couple looked absolutely stunning in their respective outfits and on getting a glimpse of their adorable snapshots, it felt like the two of them are a match made in heaven.
We're all in awe of Prabhjot's wedding attire and as an addition to her choice of outfits, she opted for a simple engagement look. Prabhjot wore an orangish-red lehenga-choli. Her lehenga was plain with just a simple Aztec pattern on it, while her blouse had a beautiful gota-patti work crafted on it. She carried a beige coloured dupatta along with the outfit and looked very beautiful with her hair semi tied. Prabhjot's now-husband, Gandharv donned a black blazer suit and added a tiny silk bow to his attire. The duo was seen posing for the camera with their bright smiles and happy faces!
We loved Prabhjot Kaur's unique wedding outfit and we're sure that the to-be brides might root for the same. Her pictures were beautifully captured by Studio Memory Lane.
