Mother Of 23-Year-Old Influencer Recounts Her Unusual Behaviour A Day Before She Killed Boyfriend

After the tragic death of a Brazilian influencer during bungee jumping, another content creator has come under the spotlight. This time, it's a British TikTok influencer named Brooke George, who murdered her boyfriend, William Treeby, in June 2026. The horrific incident took place in Dubai, and she claimed that she was pushed to commit the crime in self-defence. The 23-year-old is currently detained and will potentially face a death sentence. Her mother has been pleading for her reduced sentence and even shared details of Brooke's unusual behaviour a day before she fatally stabbed the man.

Brooke George's mother recalled her unusual behaviour a day before the tragedy

Tess George, the 55-year-old mother of influencer, Brooke George, is absolutely devastated by her daughter's plight. She recently recalled how strange her daughter behaved a day before she killed 26-year-old Dubai-based Englishman, William Treeby. Tess claimed that Brooke didn't seem like herself and was unusually quiet. Her concerned mother tried to get her to open up about her issues, but Brooke allegedly refused to share anything. Her mother's exact words were:

"The day before the incident, she wasn't herself. She was quieter than usual but wouldn't tell me why."

Brooke's mom further stated what she was up to in the evening before the murder of William. According to Tess' account, Brooke and her now-deceased boyfriend went to a bar together; however, the experience was not pleasant for her. The grief-stricken mother recalled her daughter being "utterly terrified" and sobbing inconsolably after the bar visit. It was allegedly the first time Tess had seen Brooke so vulnerable and "frightened".

Tess George expressed deep concern for her daughter's well-being and alleged that she was desperately trying to get away from her lover, William and fly back home. As per Brooke's mother, her daughter's eyes were swollen due to crying for a long period of time, and it broke Tess' heart to see her like that. She didn't know exactly what Brooke went through at that time, but knew something serious had happened. As per reports, Willaim sexually assaulted his girlfriend inside a car on their way back from the bar. Tess' exact words were:

"That evening they went to a bar in Dubai. When I spoke to Brooke right after the incident, she was absolutely terrified. I have never seen my daughter so frightened. She was crying uncontrollably, and I could see one of her eyes was badly swollen and beginning to close. As Brooke's mother, I am deeply concerned for her welfare. The daughter I spoke to that night was utterly terrified. I firmly believe she was trying desperately to get home and away from whatever had happened to her."

Why did Brooke George fatally stab her boyfriend, William Treeby?

Brooke George met William on Facebook in April 2026. Within a few weeks, he invited her to Dubai, where he took her to expensive restaurants and showered her with loads of love. But the second time Brooke went to Dubai, everything changed. As per her, he became controlling and abusive. She then wanted to return home but was left scared to learn that he had arranged only a one-way ticket for her and had also hidden her passport.

On the fateful day, an intoxicated William allegedly sexually assaulted Brooke and punched her repeatedly, leaving her with visible bruises. As a means of self-defence, she allegedly reached out for a kitchen knife and stabbed him to death. It all reportedly happened as she was begging for her passport, and William was assaulting her.
