Even the idea of planning a destination wedding requires a lot of effort and planning in time. From thinking of a perfect location, to the number of guests and the type of outfits you are going to wear; there is so much to look after.

Destination weddings cost a lot of money; whether done in India or abroad. You need to book a hotel, not only for yourselves but for your family and friends too. Then, there’s the air or rail fair. The vendors at popular and famous destinations are also very expensive. So, do you really want to spend all that money on your wedding or use it on your honeymoon, your dream house, a new car or maybe something else?
People might not want to carry big gifts with them, while they travel and so might give you your wedding gifts when you are back from the wedding.
