Tony McCollister has been making headlines for a while now. The former reality TV star was known for his unorthodox show, which was later cancelled for its content. However, this time, he has not been in the headlines for his work, but instead for something that has left everyone shocked.
According to the reports making the rounds online, Tony McCollister was arraigned for s**ual crimes against children and animals. The news left the internet shocked, as the former reality star was seen in handcuffs in a video that later surfaced. While he has now been released on bail, the incident has left the netizens with an eerie feeling in their bones.
Tony McCollister is a former A&E reality star. He was known for the reality show Neighbors With Benefits. However, it was cancelled by the network soon after as the content was heavily controversial. Nonetheless, over the years, Tony remained a fixture in local media headlines due to his unorthodox lifestyle and controversial statements. The former reality star is 43 years old and hails from Warren County. While not much is known about his background, his recent involvement in the animal and child s**ual abuse case has once again brought him into the limelight for all the wrong reasons.
For the unversed, Tony McCollister was recently arraigned in Warren County for multiple s*x crimes involving animals and children. According to the court records, the arraignment took place on December 25, 2025 (ET). The former reality star was charged with felony pandering obscene material involving children and misdemeanor s**ual conduct with animals. According to the court records, he was arrested on a warrant on December 23, 2025, by the Warren County Sheriff's Office in Union Township.
A criminal complaint has alleged that Tony McCollister uploaded explicit s**ual material involving children to his Google account and engaged in s**ual conduct with his two dogs. The reports further claimed that the former reality star was fully aware of his actions. The complaint further stated that the incident occurred on November 23, 2025, at his residence on Lavender Way.
According to the Court document obtained by several media houses, Tony McCollister was charged with child s**ual abuse and uploading the graphic imagery to his Google account during the arraignment. Additionally, the former reality TV star was also held accountable on two counts of animal s**ual conduct with his pet dogs on the same day back in November 2025. Warren County Sheriff Barry Riley informed TMZ that the animals were seized from the alleged convict's custody during the investigation and "are being well cared for."
According to a WLWT5 report, Tony McCollister was arraigned in court on December 25, 2025. He posted a USD 250,000 bail bond after the hearing this week, but the court ordered him to have no contact with children or pets until his next court appearance, scheduled for December 30, 2025, at 11:00 AM (ET). If found guilty, the charges could attract a punishment of up to 8 years in prison and a USD 15,000 fine.
The alleged s*x offender's house address was also listed in the court documents. It was also cited as the same place where the horrid incidents took place. The house is located just outside of South Lebanon on Lavender Way. However, this home is owned by a woman named Erica Grove, WLWT5 reported, citing court filings. Court records indicate that Erica was also involved in the incident and was charged with s**ual misconduct with an animal by Warren County prosecutors. Nonetheless, her relationship with Tony McCollister remains undisclosed.
Tony McCollister rose to fame with his controversial reality TV show. The A&E network's Neighbors With Benefits debuted in 2015 and followed married couples as they courted "prospective partners". According to a network press release, the show looked into their lives as they interacted with friends and participants while maintaining a seemingly normal life, going about their typical everyday lives as parents, professionals, soccer moms, and little league coaches, in their suburban Ohio community.
Tony McCollister joined the show with his then-wife, Diana. The couple was the first to move into the neighbourhood and served as leaders for the s**nger movement in their locality. According to A&E, the couple hosted events and recruited new members. However, the show was cancelled just after two episodes, due to its 'explicit' content and receiving heavy public scrutiny.
While it's not certain whether Tony is still married to Diana, back in the day, the reality star sat down for an interview with Cincinnati's WXIX. During the conversation, the McCollisters explained that they'd been 'swinging' for 12 years and hoped Neighbors With Benefits would show viewers that s**ngers are normal people who are defining marriage their way. He was quoted as saying:
"The lifestyle isn't for everyone. You're not going to force your spouse into it and have it end well. There are a lot of negative things that go along with this, but it can be a very positive thing if you approach it in an open, honest way, with open, honest communication."
