Tiger Woods is under a great deal of pressure, but he is doing the best he can as his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, deals with cancer.
Tiger Woods has been facing multiple challenges for the last few months. First, he was charged with DUI after his car accident, and following this, his girlfriend, Vanessa Trump, shocked everyone by announcing that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. To mention, Vanessa was married to Donald Trump Jr., and it was in 2019, when the couple was officially divorced, after ending their 12-year-long marriage. It was in 2024 that Tiger Woods' dating buzz with Vanessa Trump began, and they eventually made it official. Tiger Woods is currently receiving treatment outside the country and is dealing with stress, as shared by some sources to PEOPLE.
Tiger Woods is reportedly continuing his treatment out of the country, and according to the sources, he is expected to be in Switzerland, where he is undergoing treatment following his March crash. Sources revealed to PEOPLE that the original plan for Tiger was a three-month rehab program, which should have been kept on target unless some major changes occurred.
According to the sources, Tiger Woods is facing some pressure from healing, as well as the legal issues, and all of these together caused a great deal of stress for him. However, Tiger is determined to return, and he's doing the best he can. As per the source:
"Tiger is doing the best he can with all of the pressure on him with healing and also the legal issues he faces in coming months. This has created a great deal of stress. I don't know when it will be or how he will do it, but Tiger is determined to return. He has to get his pain management going in the right direction and also be able to continue a fitness routine, which will help him do the best he can when seriously playing golf. This could be tough. But it’s something he wants."
Some other source revealed to PEOPLE that Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump are in close communication, and they talk every day and share their lives with each other. While Tiger is someone who cares about his family, Vanessa is also busy in her everyday life. Reportedly, Vanessa had undergone some procedure on May 20, 2026, while Tiger also travelled back home recently to handle personal matters. According to the sources, Tiger took this trip really seriously, and he is continuing with his treatment by leaving the past behind. He was also a part of Vanessa's daughter, Kai's graduation ceremony. The source could be quoted as saying:
"They talk and share their lives as they have been doing for the entire time they have been together. Tiger is a caring family guy and supportive. And so is Vanessa, also a strong woman with a full plate every day of her life. Tiger took his trip seriously and is all about continuing his recovery and putting this chapter behind him."
Tiger Woods was charged with DUI, with a suspicion of driving under the influence, after he refused a urine test. He pleaded not guilty to both charges in March, 2026. Well, it was a few weeks back when Vanessa Trump announced that she was diagnosed with breast cancer. And speaking about Tiger's reaction, a source revealed to Page Six that the world's best golfer has been extremely supportive of his girlfriend, Vanessa, through all of this.
The source revealed that Tiger is really just focused on being there for her, and he's proud of how positive she's stayed and how she's handling everything so far. According to the same source, Vanessa has been extremely strong, and Tiger has full faith in her, and he truly believes she'll be okay. Tiger has been trying to support Vanessa however he can, while working on himself.
