Raja has claimed that his ex-wife, Shweta had an affair with her on-screen lover, Cezanne Khan. The actor and Shweta were a hit pair in the serial, Kasautii Zindagii Kay. Raja had claimed that Shweta used to visit Cezanne's house and claimed she had multiple affairs.
Raja Chaudhary and Shweta Tiwari had an ugly divorce. Raja sat down for an interview with Siddharth Kannan and stated that Cezanne Khan had confessed to dating Shweta Tiwari. He also alleged that they had a mutual friend who had also told him that Shweta would stay with Cezanne at his home. Raja Chaudhary further claimed that his ex-wife, Shweta Tiwari had an affair with many people. In his words:
"Not with Cezanne Khan but with so many people. She had an affair with each and every person, I feel."
In the interview, Raja Chaudhary was further slammed as he accused Shweta Tiwari based on a certain feeling. It was not correct for him to levy heavy accusations of having an affair without proof. Raja alleged that what he saw at that time was totally proven. He believed that Shweta and Cezanne were in an affair, as he stated:
"She was working with him, and he was staying in his house. Even a common friend of ours confessed that she used to come there and stay with him. What else can I believe?"
Raja had further claimed that Shweta's alleged lover, Cezanne had admitted to him during a phone conversation of having an affair. Raja, quoting Cezanne, said, "Even he himself said, 'Yes, we are in a relationship. Tere mein himmat hai toh tu aaja mere ghar, Koliwada.''

Raja also stated that he asked Cezanne why he was doing this and spoiling the family. Cezanne had stated that he was not Shweta's family and had said, "What family? She's never with you. You're just her unpaid boy. Be happy the way you are."

A user commenting on his and Shweta's toxic marriage said, "Even after the issues in relationships become public, the truth is something only the involved people truly know. If the ex-husband was good enough, an ex-wife wouldn’t be having affairs with others?"
A user had also called Raja Chaudhary as 'sadak chaap' and had written, "Calling him to a studio and talking to him, Sid? Why? Is he some achiever? Have the spine to shut off such goons on your show itself. Not done. I think if you go by the Reddit rumours, he is right. The success she got overnight went to her head. Maybe she started feeling like she didn't need him anymore."
Netizens were disgusted by Raja Chaudhary, as one wrote, "He disgusts me. I mean, she is the mother of your daughter and had never openly said anything about this man, and look at him. Stop interviewing random chapris. Of course he will say this. He is a jilted & drunkard ex with questionable character who will always malign the image of his ex-wife. Such men are disgusting and disgraceful." Shweta Tiwari's former husband, Raja Chaudhary, also alleged that the actress had lied to him about her whereabouts. This was during their marriage. Raja said that Shweta used to tell him that she was going for a shoot but then attend an event in Delhi.
