Sharon Stone made a bombshell confession about her personal life, wherein she talked about choosing to stay celibate at the age of 68 as she wants to wait for the right one.

While her professional life has only seen the highs, she went through a lot in her personal life. Sharon recently revealed how she has chosen to stay away from casual sex.
Sharon Stone talked about her personal life during Mayim Bialik's Breakdown podcast. The Oscar-nominated actress talked about the reason why she has been celibate and her current state of mind. She stated that it's been quite a while since she had indulged in casual sex. She is holding out for something that actually meant something to her.
Sharon revealed that since her children are all grown up, she wants a companion with whom she shares genuine love and care, and she is willing to wait for that connection rather than settle for anything less. However, currently, she is in the no luck at all phase. Sharon also talked about how she is as a girlfriend.
She revealed that she has been a good girlfriend, but haven't been a girlfriend in a long time. Sharon stated that she has been a girlfriend to bad boyfriends. She said:
"I’ve had good luck and bad luck and no luck at all. For quite a long time I’ve had no luck at all. I’ve been celibate for quite a while now because I’m just at the point where I really only want to be with someone that I care for."
Talking about Sharon's past, she had some tough time. A while ago, she recalled the toughest phase of her life and how it ended her marriage. Sharon shared on David Begnaud's podcast, The Person Who Believed In Me, about the time when she was diagnosed with breast cancer in the early 2000. She shared that her doctors had come to her home and told her about the breast cancer diagnosis.
However, Sharon believed that the tumor in her breast were not cancerous, but doctors told her not to take risks as it was serious. So, to protect herself, she had to undergo a double mastectomy rather than wait and see what could lead to it. Sharon also revealed how the revelation about her health exposed the true face of her relationship with her then-husband, Phil Bronstein.
The host Begnaud asked Stone what the ridiculous part for her husband was. She had to undergo bilateral surgery; it made him furious. The host was left surprised as it wasn't the cancer, which could have killed her, the person was more upset with the fact that she had to remove her breasts.
Not only this, but Sharon once revealed how she had been through some traumatic phases of her life. She once revealed that the filmmaker, Paul Verhoeven had asked her to remove her panties in order to avoid reflection. It was a big thing at that time. She once wrote about the incident:
"I'd been told, 'We can't see anything - I just need you to remove your panties, as the white is reflecting the light."
The actress revealed that she later slapped the director after seeing her private parts being displayed in the film's final cut.
