Scout's mother praised Kaashvi for standing by her best friend on 'Bigg Boss 20', dismissing claims that she went too far while addressing his controversial bond with Love Gill.

In a recent interview with Telly Chakkar, Tanmay Singh, aka Scout's mother, Sasmita Singh, praised Kaashvi for showing the reality of how his bond with Love was being perceived outside the house.
Praising Kaashvi for standing up for Scout on national television, Sasmita said, "Itne bade national TV pe, 14 crore logon ke saamne jaake apne best friend ko defend karna aur usko samjhana, ek toh guts hoti hai. Aisa koi kar nahi sakta jo Kaashvi ne kiya."
She also commended Kaashvi for explaining the situation to Scout, particularly when viewers were interpreting his actions differently. She said, "Uske liye toh main taaliyan bajana chahungi aur bahut proud feel karti hoon, kyunki aisi bachchi jaake 14 crore logon ke saamne apne friend ko samjhane ke liye gayi."
Scout's mother disagreed with the interpretation that Kaashvi had been harsher towards Love. Kaashvi allegedly first tried to explain the situation to Scout before addressing the concerns surrounding his interactions with Love. She explained:
"Kaashvi ki koi galti nahi hai. Kashvi ne kuch zyada nahi bola. Isko log aise bana rahe hain. Agar usne kuch bhi samjhaya, dono ki achhai ke liye samjhaya, taaki dono aage samajh ke achhe way mein jaake woh show complete karein."
Speaking about Scout's growing closeness with Love Gill on reality television, the gamer's mom said, "Ek hi cheez mujhe Love se complaint hai ki woh samajhdaar hai. Woh samajh ke kar sakti thi," referring to their physical interactions, especially the moments when Scout was asked to massage her shoulders or feet.
In the October 25, 2026, Weekend ka Vaar episode, Rohit Shetty stopped at nothing to grill Scout and Love over their brother-sister bond, which he deems "inappropriate." When Kaashvi Hiranandani arrived, she addressed what people online were saying about Scout's conduct inside the house.
Kaashvi told him, "Scout, aapka har word, har touch par zoom in kiya jaata hai." She also seemed quite upset over him comparing her with Love Gill and asked, "And how did you think that you could compare me with her?"
Kaashvi further opened up about her feelings on watching clips of Scout and Love's closeness inside the Bigg Boss house. She said, "It makes me feel disgusted. Meri family ko embarrassment feel hoti hai. Ek background character ki tarah kisi ladki ke peeche bhaag rahe ho."
After the heated episode drew backlash over Love Gill, with others slamming Kaashvi for her 'insensitive' remarks rather than holding Scout accountable, Kaashvi clarified her stance. Taking to Instagram, the creator wrote:
"My intention was to address Scout, call out the mistakes I felt he had made, and hold him accountable for his actions. However, in doing so, I realise that some of the words I used were insensitive towards other people involved. Regardless of what I was feeling at the time, it is not my place to pass judgements on someone else's intentions or character, and I could have expressed myself better."
According to Scout's mother, due to his gaming background, her son was accustomed to an environment where male and female gamers interacted without being interpreted romantically.
She expressed confidence that Kaashvi's intervention would help Scout understand the situation and move forward in the competition. Scout's mother also urged viewers to refrain from spreading negative narratives about the contestants. Praising Kaashvi's presence of mind, she added:
"Woh bachchi ka presence of mind, hats off! Woh bachchi mere liye toh another level hai."
