Savannah Guthrie's mother, Nancy, fought the abductors

Well, now a retired FBI agent has noted that the blood stain pattern found on Nancy's porch indicated that the old lady did put up a fight with the kidnapper or the kidnappers. It was Jim Clemente a retired FBI officer who had come on Brian Entin's NewsNation show, for the episode of April 22, 2026. A report by the Hindustan Times revealed that both of them had spoken at length about the pattern of the blood splatter and the blood stains found on the porch, which confirmed that it was of Nancy's. The former FBI agent, according to a Hindustan Times report, mentioned:

"I believe that she was threatened—she was controlled by, most likely, the gun that the offender had at his waist or his crotch area, and that he used the gun to threaten her, control her, and get her down to the front door. At that point or shortly thereafter, she realized he was trying to take her out of the house.”

It has been months, and the FBI has not been able to trace any abductors, nor has an arrest been made so far. It has been almost two months now, and there has been no success in finding the kidnapper of Nancy Guthrie. Pima County Sheriff's Department is leading the case while the FBI is assisting with the findings related to the blood found on Guthrie's house porch.

An ex-FBI officer reveals that kidnappers took Nancy Guthrie to a place where they could exert control

The ex-FBI law enforcement officer revealed that it was never a good sign if any perpetrator wanted to take the victim away from a particular location. He revealed that Nancy was probably taken to a place where the kidnappers could have more control and also complete privacy. The former FBI agent then shared:

"I believe that Nancy fought him, either inside the door, or just outside, depending on where the first appearance of this blood splatter evidence is, and at that point, she was likely either blitzed with overwhelming force, punched in the face or the nose, and she began bleeding. She went down, either on her knees or just hunched over. And then coughed up this blood, which is why we see this pattern.”

The officer further added up and shared that the point is that Nancy was likely picked up by the offender. The officer noted that the kidnapper had stepped in and smeared. It is also possible that another part of her body touched the blood Nancy had already coughed up, as seen in the smearing patterns. The officer revealed:

"And then from that point forward, she was carried to whatever vehicle he had. And at that point, she was likely turned with her face up so that we see no further blood dripping from the face wounds that likely caused this pattern.”
