While she can't silence the chatter about her controversial relationship with her much-older fiancé, Savannah is making sure the life they are bringing into the world is celebrated for the love and happiness it represents, not defined by the headlines about its parents.

Savannah Chrisley announces her pregnancy and engagement to Jason Galanis

Hours before her heartfelt Instagram Story, Savannah announced that she was pregnant with her first child and engaged to Galanis, 56. The couple kept their relationship largely private until the double announcement sparked public interest. In an emotional Instagram post, Savannah reflected on her journey through heartbreak and uncertainty before finding love again, as the couple shared ultrasound pictures of their baby and flaunted the baby bump.

The reality star wrote, "I've prayed for this life. I've cried for this life. And there were moments I truly wondered if this life would ever be mine." She praised her fiance's support during her pregnancy, saying he hasn’t missed a single doctor's appointment. She also credited Galanis with bringing happiness and security to her life, calling him her protector, fiercest fighter, and safe place.

Savannah says she and Jason started dating in July 2025 after meeting through political circles. Just around five months into the relationship, Galanis proposed in December 2025 during a vacation in the Cayman Islands. Their wedding, initially planned for January 2027, has reportedly been postponed to May 2027 following the pregnancy announcement.

Savannah also addressed criticism of her relationship on Tuesday's episode of her podcast, Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. Explaining why she had kept her fiancé's identity private, she said she wanted to protect her peace and mental health. The reality star also dismissed concerns about their 27-year age difference, insisting that their connection mattered more than their ages.

However, her fiancé's controversial background has drawn public attention for his involvement in multiple securities fraud schemes. After Galanis was sentenced to 16 years in federal prison back in September 2020, President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025. Galanis has also been associated with Hunter Biden and business associate Devon Archer through investment ventures.

Despite all the noise, Savannah is only focusing on her exciting new chapter with Galanis and their unborn baby.
