While the show has many leading names from the entertainment and sports worlds as contestants, one name making headlines is Mahhi Vij. Now, actress Sana Makbul has taken indirect potshots at the actress.
After Mahhi entered the Bigg Boss house, Sana Makbul shared a couple of cryptic posts on X, in which she hinted at a contestant whose “true colours” she claims she knows. Sana didn’t name anyone and wrote:
“Well welll well, I do not comment on Bigg Boss or their contestants, but this season has that perfect candidate. YKYK. I know her true colours; the world will know them now. Kudos.”
Not just this, Sana also left the fans curious by revealing that everyone knows the person’s name, as she wrote, “Aap logon ko naam pata hai (You all know the name). She is so obvious.” As soon as Sana posted the cryptic note, people questioned Sana about whether she was referring to Mahhi. One user wrote, “Mahhi to bestie thi naa.”
Rumours of trouble between the former friends began after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. The duo once shared a strong bond, but their friendship soon turned sour. The official reason for their fallout is not yet known. However, Sana shared a strongly worded, cryptic social media post.
She accused an unnamed former friend of defaming her and spreading misleading information behind her back. She wrote on Instagram:
“Beware of such kind of so-called friends.” She then revealed that an “X-friend” had allegedly been approaching people and talking about her. “Well, darling, if I open my mouth, you won't be able to stand anywhere near the image you're really trying hard to portray. She is a dustbin. She is feeding wrongly, saying, God bless her and her mindset is Gutter.”
In 2024, Mahhi Vij and Jay Bhanushali hosted a Disney-themed birthday party for their daughter, Tara, and it was Sana Makbul’s cutesy moment with Tara that caught people’s attention. In a video posted on social media, Sana could be seen saying that she is Tara's 'maasi' and that she brought the Bigg Boss OTT 3 trophy on Tara's birthday. In the video, Sana picked up the birthday girl in her arms and handed her the Bigg Boss OTT 3 trophy while wishing her a 'happy birthday'.
Mahhi Vij has been part of the television industry for many years and has been offered a chance to participate in Bigg Boss multiple times. Speaking to India Today, Mahhi said she finally decided to take up the offer without overthinking her decision. Speaking about the same, Mahhi shared:
“I don't know what made me say yes. I think I am just going with the flow, and that's about it. I don't want to think too much.”
