Well now, Romeo Beckham has come under the spotlight for being caught by the police for using his phone while driving. David and Victoria's son, Romeo Beckham found himself in legal trouble in mid-2025, when the police caught him using his mobile phone while driving his Porsche 911. As per official reports, the incident took place in London. The model was at a red light when he was caught by the police. Apart from this, the police also noticed a woman sitting in the passenger seat with an unrestrained dog on her lap.
For the unversed, in the UK, animals travelling in vehicles are supposed to be properly restrained so that they do not disturb the driver. Later, the authorities pulled him over and tried to speak to Romeo. They offered him a penalty and a driver awareness course instead of facing the court; however, the matter escalated when Romeo did not respond to them. As per official reports, the police had stated:
"As I passed the vehicle on its nearside, I looked down to my right and noted that there was an unrestrained dog sitting on the female passenger's lap. I looked across at the driver. I saw that he too had his head tilted down and appeared to be looking down at a mobile phone he was holding low in his lap, near the base of the steering wheel. I could see that he was scrolling on the device with his thumbs."
Recently, David and Victoria’s son, Romeo Beckham was found guilty of driving a car even though he did not have proper control over it. The court ordered him to pay a massive amount of nearly USD 500 and added three penalty points to his driving license. Apart from this, he was also ordered to pay USD 174 in court costs and USD 236 victim surcharge. It is worth mentioning that Romeo Beckham has not yet opened up about the legal case.
Despite the legal case, Romeo Beckham continued to make public appearances. It is worth noting that multiple celebrities avoid making appearances during such legal cases. Most recently, Romeo Beckham was spotted with his father, David when the former football player received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and was also seen during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States. The model was also active on social media as he continued to share photos on his Instagram handle.
For the past few months, the Beckham family has been hogging the limelight after Brooklyn broke ties with his parents. He shared a six-page note, explaining his problems. Most recently, he took a dig at his sister, Harper, when she tried to visit him with a letter in her hand. Brooklyn reportedly called it staged and choreographed. Later, David and Victoria’s friends slammed him for his nasty allegations. A few hours ago, a source close to Victoria Beckham revealed the family’s situation. The source was quoted as saying:
"The situation has taken a toll on the entire family, and Victoria is gutted for her children. Victoria and David knew Harper was going to Brooklyn’s. The kids have had nannies and security their whole lives and have traveled on their own plenty of times, so there was nothing unusual about her going there [without her parents]."
