In a series of videos that she posted recently, Brandi revealed that she spends around 18 hours a day receiving IV medication owing to the issues affecting her face. However, the most shocking part was when Brandi claimed that an ultrasound showed something “alive” and “moving” inside her face.
Brandi has previously mentioned that facial parasites were behind her disfigurement. Now, in a recent interview, she shared that her health struggles have wiped out her social life.
RHOBH alum Brandi Glanville recently sat down for an interview with TMZ. While speaking with the publication, Brandi admitted that due to her ongoing health struggles, she is currently living like a recluse. She barely sees anybody apart from her kids.
Brandi said that she has been isolating herself from her close ones. And even when her friends tried to check on her, she wasn't too interested. According to the reality TV star, there came a time when she stopped answering calls and texts. This is because she never really had any new health updates to give to them. Brandi’s behavior even led some of her friends to believe that she was depressed instead of there being something physically wrong with her.
Brandi shared that she only gets to socialize with her kids because they come over to see her. The rest of the time, she prefers to stay at home “all day, every day.” However, Brandi explained that a huge reason behind her decision to stay home by herself most of the time is that she spends the majority of the day doing IVs. Brandi is usually left with only two hours to get anything done, but instead of doing something productive, that time is also lost in her running to the pharmacy for more prescriptions.
Brandi Glanville went on to say that she would rather stay home with her dogs, as she has developed a lot of anxiety about leaving the house. Brandi joked that no matter how she looks, her dogs continue to love her.
For those unaware, Brandi’s long list of health problems has left her with mounting medical bills. One of her friends named Gina Rodriguez, recently launched a GoFundMe to help her financially. The fundraiser revealed that Brandi has been diagnosed with a highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis, or Valley Fever, Demodex dermatitis, and mononucleosis.
Additionally, doctors found a “fungal ball” in the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s face, which she will require surgery to remove. Adding several other issues on top of that, Brandi's treatments cost USD 3,300 to USD 6,000 per month even with insurance.
In the interview, Brandi said that she is embarrassed that she had to launch a GoFundMe because asking people for money was the last thing that she ever wanted. Notably, Brandi Glanville has spent over USD 200,000 to figure out what was wrong with her health and has consulted at least 21 doctors.
Despite her ongoing health struggles, Brandi confessed that she decided to go on the show Special Forces, not because she wanted to, but because she desperately needed the paycheck. At that time, doctors had told her that she was fine, which helped her make up her mind.
