Paresh Rawal Reveals He's Glad He Was Unable To Launch His Son Aditya Rawal Because Of Lack Of Money

A few days ago, popular series, Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story's director, Hansal Mehta, had announced that he is bringing Paresh Rawal's son, Aditya Rawal, along with legendary actor, Shashi Kapoor's grandson, Zahaan Kapoor, in his next film. Now, Aditya's father, Paresh Rawal, talked about his son, Aditya Rawal and revealed why he didn't launch him.

Paresh Rawal got married to former Miss India, Swaroop Sampat, in 1987 in an intimate wedding ceremony. Once in an interview with a media portal, Paresh and Swaroop had stated that the best thing about their relationship was that not many people knew about it. They had also added that only the near and dear ones were in attendance at their wedding.

In an interview with The Indian Express, Paresh Rawal was asked why he didn't launch his son, Aditya Rawal, and the veteran actor gave a filter-less and priceless answer to the much-asked question. Paresh Rawal clearly said that he doesn't have the amount of money needed to launch his son. He said, "I did not launch him as my son because I don't have that kind of money. To launch my son, you require a big machinery."

However, the doting father added that he's super-glad that his son has made his way into the industry, independently with the film, Bamfaad. Paresh Rawal said, "But isn't this good? Through his own effort, he got noticed. People loved his work in Bamfaad." The veteran actor also heaped heavy praises on his son, Aditya Rawal and talked about his son's upcoming untitled thriller film, helmed by critically acclaimed director, Hansal Mehta. He said, "Now, he is working with Hansal Mehta. I mean, he is working with a director like him. So, his work is fetching him work. He doesn't need his father's recommendation."

When Paresh Rawal was asked to reveal the kind of advice and suggestions he has given to his son, Aditya Rawal, the actor gave a priceless reply that clearly shows his immense confidence in his son's work ethics and discipline. The doting father said, "I know with how much discipline, focus and dedication he works. So, I didn't give any sort of lessons to him."

Paresh Rawal also talked about the current crop of actors and actresses in Bollywood and stated that more than our guidance, they need our support. He said, "Also, I think with this generation, we should let them find their own way. We don't need to guide them. They are smart and honest. This generation doesn't require your advice. So, give them a direction only when they ask. All they need is your support." This is one of the biggest reasons why Paresh Rawal is immensely respected by the younger generation of our nation because the actor always shows immense confidence in them.
